A mid-20th century U.S. Maritime Commission ship's radio room bulkhead timepiece by Seth Thomas, the signed silvered dial with two red radio silence sectors and black Arabic hour numerals and numbered '14203', the black Bakelite case with locking bezel, case diameter 19.5cm. Note: the red sectors on the dial are four twice hourly radio silence intervals, introduced following the sinking of the Titanic in 1912.
