A cloth covered autograph album showing signs of wear, signed in ink and pencil by Blackburn Rovers 1948/49 (16), Blackpool 1947/48 (16), Sunderland 1951/52 (14), Preston North End 1953/54 (21), Warrington Rugby League 1948/49 (19), Bradford Northern Rugby League (12), together with 65 others mainly theatre, radio and television stars of the 1950's. Signatures include Eckersley, Crossan, Matthews, Johnston, Shackleton, Bingham, Finney and Wayman.
A scarce Great War MM group of four Medals to G-17333 Pte Philip Alexander Griston, Royal Sussex Regiment, Military Medal and Bar, British War Medal, Victory Medal and WWII Defence Medal, Pte Griston was awarded the Military Medal for his actions 12th April 1918 at Kemmel Hill, ‘when all runners had become casualties Private Griston carried a most important message back to Headquarters and maintained communication under very heavy shell fire’, he was further awarded to Bar to Military Medal for his actions on 10th September 1918 at Moislains, ‘---successfully carried an important message to advanced posts over a single plank bridge across a canal under very heavy sniper and machine gun fire’; Together with some relevant ephemera, during the Second World War Griston, then a resident of North Walsham, Norfolk, taught himself German using a Linguaphone Course and concealed a radio in his home in preparation for a possible invasion, for these actions he was awarded the Defence Medals, sadly his brother Geoffrey serving with the Norfolk Regiment was killed in Gallipoli on 21st August 1915 and his Victory Medal is offered with the lot + the original Linguaphone Records and instruction booklet

Archie Andrews; 121 Scripts by Ronald Wolfe for 'Educating Archie' and 'Archie's the Boy' Shows, also three Camera Scripts and one Rehearsal Script ++ Ronnie Wolfe 1955-60 Head writer of the hit radio series Educating Archie, a series originally created and written by Eric Sykes. This series ran until 1960. There were over two hundred episodes and an Australian tour in 1957. The cast, at various times, included such names as Tony Hancock, Max Bygraves, Beryl Reid, Harry Secombe, Benny Hill and Warren Mitchell. The writing team included Marty Feldman and Ronald Chesney.
