Daraus entstehen meine Arbeiten. Sie sind Reisebeschreibungen.' Martin Eder, zit. nach: Monopol. Magazin für Kunst und Leben, Januar 2013, S. 48. Aufrufzeit: 19.06.2021 - ca. 16.33 h +/- 20 Min. The Cries of London, circa 1754, 17/52 copper engraved playing cards, depicting tradesmen and women, comprising spades: ace, 2-4, 6, jack, queen; hearts: ace, 2-4, 9, jack; clubs: ace, queen; diamonds: 10, king, ace of spades bearing Georgian tax stamp in red ink, hearts and diamonds pip cards with stencilled colouring, court cards with hand-coloured miniature full-length figure in top left corner, toned and dusty, ace of clubs with slight surface loss to top edge (just touching first text letter), 4 of hearts with small nick in slightly creased lower left corner, jack of spades a little creased (with damp-soiling evident on verso), plain versos browned, rounded corners, 95 x 65mm, together with: Baragioli (Attilio), Florentine Pattern deck of cards, circa 1860, 49/52 engraved playing cards, comprising 4 suits of 13 (French suits), each with ace, pip cards 2-10, and three hand-coloured full-length court cards ('Florence I' pattern), lacking the jack and king of spades and the jack of hearts, dust-soiled and bowed, blue dotted circle and lozenge pattern on versos, 98 x 64mmQty: (2)NOTESBoth decks extremely scarce. The first is rare in any state of completion or format: John Kirk's Cries of London could be purchased in bound book form, as a deck of playing cards as here, and as an alphabetical engraved panorama strip mounted on wooden rollers (see Cotsen Children's Library, Call Number: Objects 18 425). The set is given a fleeting mention in Mann, All Cards on the Table, p.134. John Kirk was a shopkeeper and metal worker who ran an engraving and die stamping business in St Paul's Churchyard, London. His set of the Cries was advertised in an issue of the Public Advertiser published on 21st December 1754: "This Day is published, From four Copper-plates neatly engraved, each containing 12 Prints, of The most humorous CRIES of London ... in Sheets, or stitched, in Little Books; likewise made up in Boxes or Rowlers, at 1s. a Piece, very fit to amuse children and help them forward in their Learning..." John Kirk also produced a set of Aesop's Fables playing cards, around 1759. Comprising the following cries: 'Newcastle Salmon'; Great News in the London Evening Post'; 'I'm come this afternoon to play you a merry Tune'; 'Green and large Cucumbers'; 'Sheeps Hearts Livers or Lights to Day'; 'Sweet Damask Roses'; 'Stone Tea Potts Stone Muggs do you want any Earthern Ware'; 'Two Bunches three Halfpence 3 Bunches 2 Pence Sugar Turnips'; 'Old Iron or broken Glass Bottles take Money for them'; 'My pretty Maids within, Have you got any Hare's or Rabbett's Skin'; 'Corns to Cut'; 'Mary, Mary Where are You now?'; 'Buy Beef, a good fat Piece of Beef: Hoa!'; 'Buy my Shrimps'; 'Here's valiant Jack Falstaff, that merry Blade'; 'Bellows to mend'; 'The only Booth in the Fair: The noted Yates is here'.
Sir William Reid Dick (British, 1878-1961)A bronze figure of 'The Catapult' or 'Slingshot Boy', the nude figure twisting to the right and aiming his catapult, the naturalistic base signed and dated W. Reid Dick 1911, mounted on veined green marble rectangular plinth base, the figure 63cm. high (24 13/16in high), 67cm high (26 3/8in high) overall.Footnotes:ProvenanceChristie's, Furniture, Works of Art & Carpets, 13th September 2005, lot 263Reid Dick first exhibited his bronze of 'The Catapult' or 'The Slingshot' as it was alternatively known at the Royal Academy in 1911. Measuring 60cm high, this large scale version was first cast by the Italian founder Giovanni Galizia at the Parlanti foundry and is now in the Bradford City Art Gallery, Cartwright Hall. Later reductions in two sizes, 60cm and a smaller and more common 33cm high were cast by Galizia in his own foundry although the model was subsequently cast after the first world war by other foundries. The Victorian Web states that examples of the large size cast measuring 60cm high are rare, citing the Bradford example as being the only known recorded example of this size held in a British public collection. The present bronze measuring 63cm high is however evidently rarer still, as it corresponds in height with an apparently unique bronze figure of the same subject sold in these rooms as lot 297, 4 November 2015, Fine English Furniture, Sculpture & Works of Art, sale 22305, which had direct provenance to the sculptor and family descendants. This figure was marked with the foundry stamp for the Morris Singer Foundry, dating it to no earlier than 1927 when the foundry firms of Morris and Singer merged. In addition the surface of this figure, much like the present lot, had a distinctive Verdigris green tone which apparently was Reid Dick's preferred surface finish for patination when he oversaw the casting and finishing process. As such, it is possible that the present lot, although unmarked, may also date from the same period. LiteratureD. Wardleworth, William Reid Dick, Sculptor, Ashgate, p.160H. Zustand: IIAn NSDAP standard of the SA Bodensee "Deutschland Erwache", with carrying bag The standard composed of an eagle, the tip of the standard, the pole, two long cords at the sides, the standard cloth and a protective cover for the standard tip. The tip silver-plated and gilt, the soldered swastika also gilt and painted black in the centre. The socket stamped with the founding date "1923" on the front and the manufacturer's mark "Otto Gahr" on the reverse, two fastening holes. The silver and gold plating tarnished and abraded in places due to age. Including the extremely rare protective cover in greenish canvas, containing light-coloured leather pieces. The leather marked with a circular RZM stamp, L2/1639/39.The box fixed underneath made of silver-plated sheet aluminium, inscribed "Bodensee", the name of the standard. The front of the box with the embossed designation "Bodensee" and "NSDAP" on the back, the original red lacquer still in good condition on both sides. The housing screwed together by means of a screw in the letter "E" of "Bodensee" and correctly on the back in "NSDAP" in the upper section of the letter "D". Dimensions of the housing 40 x 11.5 x 7 cm. The interior of the parallele piped is marked of the no. "13".The standard cloth with a black, white and red fringe on three sides and a pocket at the top to accommodate the mounting pole, the cloth measuring 68 x 59 cm. The extremely rare leather cover in the centre of the standard to protect the cloth from rubbing on the pole. Both sides offset with a white disc and a horizontal black swastika, trimmed with silver braid in each case. The front bearing the inscription "Deutschland Erwache" in white embroidery, the back reads "Nat. Soz. Deutsche Arbeiterpartei" and "Sturmabteilung". Comes complete with the black, white and red woollen tassels on both sides, the ties twisted together. The wooden standard pole made of two pieces and can be unscrewed at the central bronze fittings. The standard is 2.26 m tall and weighs 6.5 kilos. Extremely rare in terms of its completeness and condition.Provenance: To our knowledge, this is the only associated SA standard whose provenance is documented all the way back to its capture by the 2nd Division Blindée under General Leclerc on 26 April 1945 in the Brown House in Constance. On 26 April 1945, General Leclerc managed to occupy the Lake Constance region shortly before the French army came to Berchtesgaden. On arrival in Constance, a French officer of the 2nd French Division, the Lebel group, discovered this piece in the local Brown House. In alphabetical order, the SA standard Bodensee was the 17th SA standard to be blessed by Hitler in a solemn ceremony during the 1934 Reich Party Rally in Nuremberg. The standard was presented as a gift to a French pharmacy professor, probably Monsieur Georges Dillmann (see also the capital letters "GD" on the metal box). The French collector Andre Boulanger acquired the standard in 1971, keeping it in his collection for almost 30 years. Finally, the "Dezember 1944" museum in La Gleize, Belgium, purchased the standard from Boulanger in 2005. The standard has only been gently cleaned since coming to light in 1945 and is otherwise completely in its original condition.Condition: II

[Botero (Giovanni)] Observations vpon the liues of Alexander, Caesar, Scipio. Newly Englished, only edition, title with woodcut printer's device, woodcut head- and tail-pieces and decorative initials, lacking A1 (blank except for signature mark) and final blank, large ink stamp to foot of title and a smaller one to foot of final recto, A4 piece torn from outer margin, some water-staining, occasional spotting, lightly browned, contemporary limp vellum, lacking ties, orange library label to foot, lightly soiled, [STC 3397], 8vo, Printed by A. Islip, for Iohn Iaggard, 1602.⁂ Only edition of this translation of Botero's I Prencipi, Turin, 1600, which considers three rulers of the ancient world. It was written for the three sons of Charles Emmanuel I, Duke of Savoy, and is rare at auction. Provenance: 'C.Hamberger' (19th century ink signature to front pastedown); Stadtbücherei, Plauen i.v.' (stamp to title and end).
Fludd (Robert) Mosaicall Philosophy: Grounded upon the Essentiall Truth or Eternal Sapience, 2 parts in 1, first English edition, titles with woodcut printer's device, woodcut illustrations, head-pieces and decorative initials, lacking A1 (blank), previous owner's ink signatures to title, faint abrasion where ink-stamp removed and small loss to top corner, occasional ink underlining, small loss to fore-edge of N1 and bottom edge of 2P1, small paper label to front pastedown, abrasion mark to front pastedown where label removed, occasional faint spotting, light browning as usual, contemporary calf, a little rubbed, bumping and small loss to spine extremities, [Wing F1391], small folio, for Humphrey Moseley, 1659.⁂ The greatest occult mind of the English Renaissance, Fludd was the premier representative of the Rosicrucian philosophy in England, deeply versed in both Neoplatonic and Kabbalistic thought. He was a Paracelsian physician of considerable prominence in London circles, and he is thought to have influenced William Harvey's conception of the heart and blood. A devout Christian, Fludd deemed himself a "Mosaicall Philosopher' insofar as his thinking was grounded in the spiritual and physical principles divinely revealed to Moses. As with most of Fludd's works, the Mosaicall Philosophy combines both scientific and occult thought; and Fludd here details his experiments with th weather-glass and the magnetic lodestone to demonstrate the divine spiritual principles at work in nature. Even today, the Mosaicall Philosophy is the only major work of Fludd to have been translated into English. Rare and important.

McMillan for Robert Triphook, 1820.⁂ Presentation copy of the rare library catalogue of 'England's earliest female bibliophile' (De Ricci, p.141). The presentation inscription reads 'With Miss Currer's Compts'. Currer was born on 3rd March, 1785 at Eshton Hall, near Gargrave, in Yorkshire. Her mother, a niece of Clive of India, was the only surviving child and heir of Matthew Wilson of Eshton Hall. Dibdin considered her 'the head of all female collectors in Europe' (Reminiscences, 2.949) and that her 'library was, in its day, surpassed only by those of Earl Spencer, the Duke of Devonshire, and the Duke of Buckingham.'. After her death Currer's half-brother sold most of the library at Sotheby's in 1862, where it fetched nearly £6,000; and a second tranche in 1916 raised more than £3,700. Mathematics.- Bettini (Mario) Aerarium Philosophiae Mathematicae..., 7 parts in 3 vol., bound in 2, first edition, on thick paper, 2 only (of 3) additional engraved titles by Francesco Curti to vol. I & II, 2 engraved portraits of bishops Madruzzi & Zeccadori, engraved plate of genealogical tree, 3 engraved plates tipped onto margins of text leaves, woodcut and engraved illustrations, second additional title trimmed at foot, just within plate mark, affecting the engraver's name, some marginal browning to ff. with folding plates mounted verso, a few spots, engraved Macclesfield bookplates, contemporary Dutch vellum, blind-stamped centre-pieces, spines darkened with some creasing and soiling, lacking ties, [Riccardi I, 125; Sommervogel I, 1428], large 4to, Bologna, G. B. Ferroni, 1648.⁂A crisp and clean copy on thick paper of this rare compendious scholastic mathematical work by the Jesuit Bettini (1582-1657). It encompasses all the major fields of mathematics, with special attention paid to Geometry, including Astronomical Geometry. The work would have passed through the rigorous censorship of Christopher Grienberg of the Collegio Romano, where Aristotelian teachings were adhered to. He had succeeded Christopher Cluvius, who had been the prime mover in establishing mathematics in the curriculum of the college and had greatly influenced future Jesuit mathematical writings. It is not known how much of the work can be accredited to Grienberg, but it is clear that the mechanical and measuring devices illustrating the work must be by him. Indeed, Bettini acknowledges the debt to him in the Scholion Parergicon in the present work.Provenance: The Earls of Macclesfield, Shirburn Castle (blind stamp to first three ff., bookplates to pastedown).

1990 Citroën BX 4x4 GTiRegistration no. H727 YYNChassis no. VF7XBFR000FR1998KOdometer reading: 86,500MOT Expiry: 2 December 2021*Very rare Citroen BX 4x4 GTi*Only 4 UK RHD cars believed to be left*Large history file*Recent resprayStyled by Mercello Gandini of Bertone, the BX was one of Citroens most successful cars of the 1980s. Launched in hatchback form on 2 October 1982, the BX not only had an eye-catching design, but also Citroen's world famous hydropneumatic suspension – giving the car an unrivalled ride quality. The BX was incredibly popular during its production run, however many were scrapped and they are now a very rare sight on the road. The 4x4 GTi is the highest spec BX, and featured a gearbox mounted four-wheel drive system with locking differentials. The car also featured a fuel-injected 1905cc engine that could propel the car to 60mph in 9.7 seconds – an impressive figure for a big heavy Citroen at the time. These are now incredibly rare, with only 4 believed to be left on UK roads. This example has only had 2 previous owners. This 1990 example is in good condition and has a low mileage of only 86,500 miles. The car has had a professional re-paint including all the doors and front wings. All inner doors and door shuts were also re-painted in 2018. The front bumper has a small area of cracked paint (due to a family member backing into it), however the plastic is not cracked or deformed. The boot plastics also have some minor scratching. The 1.9 litre engine runs very well and recently had new valve stem seals fitted, a new water pump, new distributor cap and arm, new timing belt, new radiator and a stainless steel exhaust. The rear axle high pressure suspension has also been re-piped in copper with four new discs and pads (within last 3000 miles). Four new tyres have also been recently fitted. All the electrics work as they should however the remote central locking system will require some attention The car has a main dealer service history with 10 stamps in the book up to 47,000 miles (in 1998), and one specialist service stamp at 52000 miles 1999. This is a unique opportunity to acquire a very rare and well cared for Citroen BX.Footnotes:Vendor Score Total: 84/100Bidders should note that the automated 100-point Seller's Assessment is provided by each Seller at the point of consignment using the guidelines below, and is not provided, assessed or verified by Bonhams MPH. In production for one year only, the 1963 split-window Coupe C2 Corvette is the rarest and most desirable.Supplied new by Harry Mann, Los Angeles CA, the largest Chevrolet dealer on the West Coast at the timeFinished in rare Saddle Tan Metallic with a tan interiorDesirable factory options include uprated 300bhp, L75, 327ci engine, Powerglide transmission and electric windowsRestored to NCRS standards achieving a ‘Flight’ award in recognitionFeatured on the cover of and in 'Classic American' magazine and also in 'The Art of the Classic Sports Car' with photography by James MannThe appropriate registration number VET 661 will remain with the vehicleNow in its eighth generation, the Corvette began life in 1953 with the C1 - a model that inspired a generation of young Americans and gave the Ford Empire a nine-year headache. However it was the C2, the immortal Sting Ray produced between 1963 and 1967, that really set Chevrolet's cash registers ringing and left us with the most desired and collectable Corvette to date. Designed by Larry Shinoda under the guidance of the legendary Bill Mitchell, influences on the Sting Ray's unique and unforgettable form are said to include: the E-type Jaguar, a Mako shark once caught by Mitchell, the 'Q Corvette' concept car of 1957 and the 'Mitchell Sting Ray' design exercise.By the autumn of 1959, elements of the two unique Corvettes had been built into XP-720 - the design programme that led to the production of the Sting Ray as we know it. The aims for the new car included: improved passenger accommodation, more luggage space and superior ride and handling and with this, in mind, a new ladder chassis was created for the car by Zora Arkus-Duntov, the most important element of which was the move away from a live axle to independent rear suspension, courtesy of lateral struts, radius rods and transverse leaf spring. The independent front suspension was much as before, as were the recirculating ball steering and there were a number of drive train options available including four small block V8 engines, three transmissions, and six-axle ratios. One major innovation was that the C2 was available in both Convertible and Fastback Coupé form. The latter initially featured a dramatic split rear window, but this was discontinued a year into production and consequently, the 'split-window' cars are now by far the most desirable. The Corvette has since become widely known as "America's Sports Car" and has become synonymous with freedom and adventure, ultimately becoming both "the most successful concept car in history and the most popular sports car in history"Built in St. Louis Missouri, this very rare and desirable 'Split-Window' C2 is the Holy Grail of Corvettes with production only running for one year. Having had just four owners in total, this ‘black plate’ Sting Ray spent its entire life in California before being exported to the UK in September 2014. Prior to that, the car’s second owner had placed it into dry storage in 1980 where it remained until 2011 emerging ripe for restoration with a complete and total chassis-up rebuild taking place over the next two years. Restored to original specification and NCRS ( National Corvette Restorers Society) standard, this matching numbers example finished in Saddle Tan with a Tan interior is one of just 1,505 Powerglide examples to roll off the production line and remains stunning throughout with an attention to detail that is rarely achieved, even the radiator has the correct year date stamp! Factory options include the uprated 300bhp L75 engine, Powerglide 2-speed auto transmission and electric windows. Not only chosen as a cover car for ‘Classic American’ in 2017 with full feature, this outstanding Sting Ray, wearing the appropriate registration number VET 661, is also included in the coffee table book ‘The Art of the Classic Sports Car’ with photography by James Mann, copies of both are included within the comprehensive history file that accompanies the car.If you have been searching for what must be one of, if not the, best 1963 Split Window coupes, certainly in the UK then look no further! We strongly encourage and welcome your earliest inspection to fully appreciate the lengths taken to produce this outstanding example of automotive history that retains a cult following to this very day. Introduced in 1933, its a rare variation using unusual coloring - a variation of the original. Jug depicts Sir Francis Drake on one side and the a group reading a scroll with the queen on the other. It also has a very detailed handle using a lantern, the ships anchor and twisted rope. Royal Doulton back stamp.Sir Francis Drake is undoubtedly the most famous of those Elizabethans who, through their seamanship and courage, made England a great sea power. In I577 he led an expedition around the world, his backers including Queen Elizabeth I, the Earl of Leicester, Hatton, Walsingham, Hawkins and the two Wynters. He returned in the Golden Hind with a hold full of treasure and was knighted on the ships deck. According to tradition he insisted on finishing his game of bowls when the Armada was sighted, saying There is plenty of time to win this game and thrash the Spaniards too. The jug with it rope handle complete with ships lantern records two of these events: Drake with the Queen and other backers before the Golden Hind, and playing bowls on Plymouth Hoe while awaiting the Armada. An ornate drum is also shown there is a legend that when England is threatened Drake can be recalled by beating this drum, and under the lip is part of Drakes Drum by Sir Henry Newbolt: Take my drum to England, hang it by the shore. Strike it when your powders runnin low. It continues If the Dons sight Deven, Ill quit the port 0 heaven An drum them up the Channel as we drummed them long ago. Garden statues: A pair of rare Blanchard’s terracotta eagles, late 19th century, each with indistinct makers stamp Blanchard Terracotta London, 64cm highMark Henry Blanchard served his apprenticeship with the Coade Company and around 1839 established his own manufactory in London. It is believed that in 1883 he moved his workshops to Bishops Waltham, to be nearer to the source of clay that he used. By the middle of the century, he had emerged as the leading manufacturer of terracotta in Britain, he was awarded prizes for his exhibit at the Great Exhibition of 1851. Amongst the many properties where his produce can be seen is the South Kensington Museum (now the Natural History Museum).
1967 Alfa Romeo Spider 1600 Duetto Transmission: manual Mileage: 52747The Alfa Romeo Spider 1600, to give it its official factory name, was manufactured during 1966 and 1967. The name 'Duetto' came about from a competition held by Alfa Romeo to distinguish the car from its Giulia 105 series stable mates, the Coupé and Berlina, and was accepted for its reference to the two-seat layout. The Duetto name only applied to the 1600 model; two later variants, with different engine sizes, were the 1750 Velocé and 1300 Junior. All of the models are commonly known today as roundtail spiders. These advanced motor cars were fitted, as standard, with twin cam engines, five-speed gearboxes and disc brakes on all four wheels.Offered here is a unique opportunity to bring back to its former glory a rare and beautiful genuine 1967 Duetto Spider. First registered on 25th May 1967, the car was fully restored in the mid 70’s by the previous owner Mr. Frank Pollock who, after enjoying the car extensively, sold it on to the vendor in 1988. The car was a concours winner no less than six times between 1981 and 1992 and amazingly, much of its concours documentation remains within the car’s history file including scoring sheets, entries and pictures. Also included in the beautifully presented history file are photos of the bare metal restoration along with virtually all its tax discs and MoT certificates between 1977 and when the car was laid up in 1998. Several publications featuring the car are also supplied with the car, including a copy of Classic and Sports Car magazine from September 1984 with the car on the front cover and included in a five page article on the Spider models. Some may question how such a beautifully presented car, with two such fastidious long term owners, could fall into such disrepair. The story, an all too familiar one, is that the car, was put into the vendor’s garage, along with a Sprint Speciale (also featured in this auction), when he started spending more time working abroad. As his career blossomed, time flew by and unbeknown to him a tree branch fell and broke a hole through his garage’s roof. Further deterioration followed until the cars found themselves in their current state. Upon close inspection however, the cars appear to be in better condition than an initial glance might lead one to believe. The cellulose paint has survived very well overall, with both the boot and engine bay presenting very well. The interior, with some very rare elements, on the whole is salvageable, despite clearly needing a new hood.Supplied with its V5C logbook, original service book, instruction book, toolkit, history file, tax discs, MoT test certificates, magazine articles, restoration photos, concours history and many Alfa Romeo Owners Club magazines. This beautiful and most desirable of Spiders is complete and offers a rare opportunity for someone to put their own stamp on and to extend the previously illustrious life of this lovely little Alfa.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1985 BMW M635CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 77849The BMW M635CSi was the brainchild of BMW’s Motorsport department and arrived to the market in 1984. Karmann manufactured the early 6 Series BMWs from launch in 1976 before BMW took production in-house. The engine was a development of the M1 supercar's 3453cc, 24 valve, six cylinder unit producing 286bhp, the increased power necessitating chassis improvements which included altered weight distribution, revised suspension, larger brakes and a limited slip differential. There was also a close ratio five-speed gearbox (or four speed multi-mode auto) and a more luxurious interior, while outwardly this ultimate 6 Series model was readily distinguishable by virtue of its 'M Technic' bodykit. Performance was impressive with the M635CSi capable of reaching 0-62mph in around six seconds on its way to a top speed in excess of 155mph.This fabulous, very rare, early chrome bumper, matching numbers M88 powered manual gearbox 'Shark' comes from a private BMW Car Club member and enthusiast and is a car well known in the Club having been seen at many Club Shows and notably was on the club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show. Presented in probably the best colour combination of Cosmos Blau with Pacific Blue interior with a factory fitted Mtec body kit. In fabulous condition throughout, it sits on period uprated alloy wheels housing uprated 8 Series brakes (original wheels also supplied) and boasting a limited slip differential. Originally registered on 1st August 1985 and delivered locally to Bracknell before selling through BMW Park Lane, this is a highly collectable, excellent example of the rare right hand drive M635 – one of just 524 right hand cars ever produced – and even if you were to buy a poor example, we believe it would cost in excess of £30,000 to reach the quality of this current car. Having purchased the BMW 17 years ago, the owner has amassed an extensive history file detailing the considerable amount of money he has been spent on refurbishing and restoring the car to its current excellent state. In 2009 a full body restoration and repaint was fulfilled by Autospray VSS in Henstridge, Somerset with full photographic evidence of the work included in the history file. In fantastic standard today, it also benefits from an original radio/cassette, Blaupunkt New York SQR83 model and all the electrics are reported to be in working order including sunroof and both front and rear windows. In 2016, with the mileage at 77,470, a full engine rebuild was undertaken by renowned specialists Munich Legends and less than 400 miles has been covered since. Recent works include a new fuel tank and ancillaries in 2019 and clutch and slave cylinder in 2018 together with a recent service this summer coupled to all the brake lines and fuel lines replaced.Garaged and used sparingly, this is a pampered example that we strongly recommend viewing. Accompanying the car is the original owner’s handbook and service book in its original wallet with the latest stamp in 2020 and the original toolkit with history detailing ownership from new. There are also many invoices, a BMW Heritage Certificate, every MoT test certificate going back to 1988 and a current MoT test certificate which expires in March 2022. The car drives extremely well and still feels quick on the open road even by today’s standards and, with just 60 currently registered in the UK and BMW classic prices soaring, this is a fabulous opportunity to snap up a seriously cool BMW M car with a stunning history.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
