THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME LP (1ST UK 'BLACK AND GOLD' PRESSING - PMC 1202 - SUPERB COPY). An incredible condition 1st UK 'black and gold' mono copy of the legendary debut long player from The Beatles. This is the original pressing issued on Parlophone's striking 'black and gold' labels, with Dick James credits for tracks A1, A2, A6, A7, B4 and B6 and the 'right aligned' Dick James credit on the sleeve. The record is in Ex+ condition. An extremely fine example, the playing surfaces super glossy with a beautiful lustre. Noted are just a couple of very light and minor surface hairline marks which do never extend any deeper. The labels are in stunning order. Matrix/mother stampers: XEX 421-1N 2 GM & XEX 422-1N 1 GA. The sleeve is in Ex+ condition. Once again a beautiful example, the front shows almost no signs of wear. The reverse shows some very minor wear along the bottom edge of the flipback tab and the original owner (who is the vendor) has penned a neat signature on the top right section. With original Emitex inner. A magnificent investment condition copy.
