GHOSTBUSTERS (2016) - Screen-Matched Light-Up Reel-to-Reel EVP Recorder - A screen-matched, light-up, reel-to-reel EVP recorder from Paul Feig's Ghostbusters. Scuff marks on the control panel and around the body of this reel-to-reel electronic voice phenomena (EVP) recorder screen-match it to shots of the Ghostbusters recording supernatural phenomena.This Kudelski Nagra III recorder (with supply and take-up reels in place) is attached to a metal base with various switches and knobs, and adhered tech elements including circuit boards and computer fans. The base features red and green lights illuminated by a switch on the left side of the recorder with an attached power cord. While the lighting effects function, the recorder itself does not at this time. Various audio cables run from the recorder, two of which have been cut. Two additional cables are also included. The recorder exhibits some loose or unattached elements. Great Exhibition.- Expositor (The): an illustrated recorder of inventions, designs and art-manufactures, 3 vol., nos.1-90, illustrations, vol. 3 pp.63-4 with loss to corner affecting text, occasional spotting and some light toning, 20th century green half calf, spines gilt, [1850]-52; sold as a periodical and not subject to return; and 2 others, similar (5)*** A good run of this rare periodical, published weekly during the Great Exhibition. The Expositor covered news of the fair with numerous illustrated records of the Crystal Palace and also reported on new inventions and engineering improvements in London and elsewhere. Few runs appear to be as complete as the present example, that in the V&A only comprises nos. 1-39.
