1981 Honda CX500 cafe racer, 498cc. Registration number BFW 660X. Frame number CX500-2311972. Engine number CX500E-2311976. Sold with a photocopy of a V5C, this registration number different frame and engine numbers, keys. The CX series feature a crankshaft configuration aligned longitudinally with the axis of bike, similar to the Moto Guzzi layout. Unlike a "boxer" flat-twin, the cylinders protrude at an angle above the horizontal. The included angle of the CX is 80°, and the heads are twisted 22° so that the inlet tracts do not interfere with the rider's legs. A camshaft nestles at the base of the V between the cylinders. Although Honda generally favors OHC engines, the cylinder head twist necessitated the use of stubby pushrods to operate the four overhead valves per cylinder, with a forked rocker arm acting off each pushrod. The 5-speed transmission is located below the crankshaft, with both in the same housing, an arrangement which keeps the engine short (length wise) but quite tall. The engine has a 10.0:1 compression ratio and 9,650 rpm redline. Just as with the Honda Gold Wing, the transmission rotates opposite to the engine to help counteract the engine torque's tendency to tip the bike slightly to one side when the throttle is opened or closed. This example has been very well restored as a cafe racer and has recently been run. There is no history and the paperwork needs to be confirmed with DVLA, this is the buyers responsibility.

Registration – R444 AVTChassis No. – WUAZZZ8K4DA902595M.O.T. – February 2026Odometer – 74,000‘R444AVT’ represents the flagship model of Audi’s B8 A4 range in Avant shooting brake form. Audi had a habit of throwing everything at their RS4 models and ‘R444AVT’ is no exception. It features the howling, 32 valve 4.2 litre engine as originally used in the R8 which delivered a mighty 444bhp in this application. Well chosen, non-standard enhancements include a Capristo stainless steel sports exhaust system with Darkside Developments non-resonated downpipes. BBS MTM Bi Moto alloy wheels are also fitted. The vendor has owned ‘R444AVT’ for around three and a half years adding around 12,000 miles in their ownership to bring today’s total to around 74,000. ‘R444AVT’ is offered with original book pack and stamped service book. The current vendor has used Unit 20 in Neston for maintenance with records of work uploaded to the Audi service system.‘R444AVT’s’ bodywork is finished in Audi’s popular Sepang Blue pearl effect livery. The RS4 is surprisingly subtle looking considering its lofty mechanical specification. Cues extend to twin, oval tail pipes, subtle model badging and matt aluminium roof rails. Being the range topping A4, this is a faultlessly equipped sporting estate, of course. Cabin appointments include flat bottomed multifunction RS steering wheel, electrically operated and heated front seats, automatic climate control, satellite navigation and a raft of electronic driver aids. It’s the mechanical specification, however, that will really quicken the autophile’s heart. The high-revving 4.2-litre V8 engine is the headline act with its dizzyingly high 8,500 rpm redline. This feeds nearly 450bhp to all four wheels via a seven speed twin clutch automatic transmission. Uprated RS suspension and brake systems ensure changing direction and stopping are equally impressive as the surge of forward momentum is. In terms of condition, ‘R444AVT’ warrants an “excellent” vendor rating for all mechanical systems and the well appointed interior. The paint and bodywork are rated as “good.”This rarified technical specification originally endowed the RS4 Avant with a sub five second 0-60mph time and an electronically limited 155 mph top speed. In addition, of course, the RS4’s Avant body is no less practical, commodious and family friendly than any other Audi A4 Avant making this a genuine example of that “all the car you ever need” ideal. In summary:· Attractive and popular Sepang Blue livery with MTM Bi Moto wheels· Featuring the astounding 4.2-litre V8 powerhouse with an 8,500 rpm redline· Well maintained with a current MOT and ready to be the only car you ever need
Registration – MA08 OHUChassis No. – JHMAP11207S200339M.O.T. – March 2026Odometer – 39,200The Honda S2000 was launched in 1999 to instantly become the production car record holder for the highest specific power output per litre of any naturally aspirated car. ‘MA08 0HU’ hails from the second generation, AP1 iteration of this high revving, front engine, rear wheel drive sports coupe. Furthermore, ‘MA08 0HU’ is the range topping GT model which came with factory supplied hardtop and outside temperature gauge. With a very modest 39,200 miles or so covered and just four owners to date, ‘MA08 0HU’ comes with a partial service history. Between 2011 and 2018 it is reported that the S2000 was serviced and maintained privately but all other years are stamped in the service booklet. ‘MA08 0HU’ holds an advisory free MOT until March 2026 so is the perfect sporting choice for the upcoming summer. The second generation S2000 served to build on the superb reputation established by the AP1. The remarkable F20C two-litre engine remained with the double overhead camshaft VTEC unit delivering 237bhp at a screaming 8,300rpm with an 8,800rpm redline. For the AP1, however, the suspension geometry was tweaked to improve stability, 17-inch alloys were introduced, and the bumper aesthetics were revised. Inside, the dashboard retained its digital design in tribute to late eighties McLaren-Honda Formula-1 racing cars in recognition of Honda’s racing pedigree.‘MA08 0HU’ presents in Silverstone Metallic livery and remains complete with its original factory aluminium hardtop, stand and cover. This easily detaches to reveal an electrically operated black cloth hood. The overtly sports orientated cabin is finished in black leather. The vendor reports that ‘MA08 0HU’ has been undersealed with a “rust proof guarantee” and confirms that he has added only 9,000 miles in his five year tenure. With ‘MA08 0HU’ always garaged during this time it will be no surprise that all aspects of the car are vendor rated as “excellent” with only the bodywork garnering a “good” rating. In summary:· A great looking GT version of the S2000 complete with original factory hardtop· Compete with a partial service history· Featuring an advisory free MOT which is valid until March 2026

• Manual example • One of the best M3s ever made The BMW M3 is one of the most iconic sportscars of all time. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3s ever made. Presented in Silver Grey metallic with contrasting black Nappa leather, this manual M3 coupé was first registered on 12th June 2004 at a cost of £42,655, £2,260 of which was optional extras. Extras included 19-inch alloy wheels, Harman Kardon Hi-Fi, heated front seats, aluminium shadow interior trim, front centre armrest and graduated tinted screen. Our vendor purchased this car in July 2022, as a keen racer he had entered his BMW 246 GTR into an upcoming race series and saw this manual car as a perfect opportunity to enjoy some track time. As time was always against him only three track days were ever enjoyed in the car with it being inspected after every use. These track days were at Oulton Park, Goodwood and Castle Combe. Lake of use didn’t stop a few subtle upgrades being fitted including larger racing brakes, polybushes and an anti-roll bar which all surmount to a better handling example of the already fantastically good road car. The history file shows a good service history with the last in 2023 and few miles covered since. The MoT check shows that the car has been MoT’d annually and in the last decade not one MoT has featured an advisory. The vendor informs us that the rear sub frames have been replaced and Vanos system was checked by the previous fastidious owner. Offered with an MoT test certificate valid until February 2026, this is one of the best handling M cars BMW have produced, with the desirable (some say necessary) manual gearbox. Well maintained and cared for with the best subtle upgrades, this is a fabulous example perfect for touring, track days or just enjoying one of the finest engineered M3’s ever made. Striking looks in period Jägermeister livery, this S38-powered 5-Series is ready to race. This 1987 BMW 5 Series (E28) is a well raced, hugely competitive car well known in BMW circles, having featured in a plethora of magazines and articles. It's visually stunning with the iconic Jägermeister livery perfectly representing the nature of this car. This exceptional vehicle has undergone a remarkable transformation having started life as an E28 520i Lux (D758 SGK) and now fully built up into what you see today, with its E34 M5 S38 six-cylinder heart, tuned and tweaked to produced an impressive 360bhp. A beautiful blend of brute strength and stunning looks, it stands out from the crowd for all the right reasons. This automotive gem earned its stripes with a glorious 5-page feature in the January 2023 issue of Total BMW, solidifying its status as a standout in the world of high-performance cars. Notably, it graced the cover of the 2003 Silverstone BARC Championship Race day Programme and made further appearances in Total BMW (August 2004) and BMW Car Magazine (March 2017).Initially, after its conversion from a fairly uninspiring donor car to a proper racer, it was still able to wear a number plate and drive on the streets, however, it is no longer currently MOT'd or on the road and whilst it currently lacks road legality, its race/track-oriented features are nothing short of extraordinary.Externally, the BMW has a carbon fibre bonnet and boot-lid, 'Group 5' arches and all-steel panels, all fitting very well. With Gaz coil-overs, an E34 M5 LSD and enormous ET11 Wagner-Tuning two-piece, split-rims (9.5" x 16" fronts and 10.5" x 16" rears) wrapped in 245/45/16 and 265/45/16 tyres respectively, grip and traction are phenomenal. The car is powered by the later S38 E34 M5 engine and gearbox, boasting a 6,900rpm 'redline' and with a custom-made stainless steel exhaust system and upgraded engine management, we understand that power output is in the region of 360bhp. The interior is exceptionally well finished, especially for a race car, with a multi-point roll cage, custom Alcantara flocked dash, DigiDash 2 display, a Momo steering wheel and Corbeau bucket seats with 6-point TRS harnesses. Retardation is handled by 750iL brakes wearing EBC Orange Stuff pads and an Accusump oil reservoir prevents surge. The history file makes for very pleasant reading and features some build photos, a plethora of invoices over the years, every MOT for D758 SGK from 1994-2009 and all the magazines in which the car has been featured.A well documented and storied history, meticulously detailed, and built for the top A2 (over 3,601cc) class in Classic Thunder Cars, this 1987 BMW E28 M5 is running and driving beautifully, eligible for plenty of prestigious motorsport events and ready to compete once more.Specification Make: BMW Model: E38 M5 - S38 Year: 1984 Chassis Number: TBA Registration Number: N/A Transmission: Manual Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Make: RHDClick here for more details and images
