Partridge, Redditch LE Rod: 10ft 2pc "Clarissa 44" split cane carp rod, no.42 of 44. Lined bridge guides throughout, wrapped ochre tipped black. Sliding band aluminium reel seat on 25ins shrink-wrapped cork handle. C/W MOB, travel box and letter from the late Alan Bramley, MD Partridge in 1988, year of manufacture of rod.

1930's Hardy Heavy Steel Centre Palakona big game rod - Serial no E28922 dating it to 1934 - overall length 82" fitted with 21" mahogany butt with brass screw winch reel fittings, brass slotted butt cap, and original thick hide fore handle c/w Hardy plated harness collar and ring, 8x Hardy stamped heavy duty drop pillar lined agate tubular rings with roller tip guide - the rod has been refurbished hence no details to the rod other than the makers serial no. and to all the brass and other parts - curve to rod - a great display item
