An Austrian draftsman, etcher and illustrator as well as a military officer, Ludwig Heisshaimer designed the artwork depicting a man wearing a yellow top with an ammunition belt round his waist and holding a rifle gun across his shoulders in front a cloudy blue sky background, the stylised lettering above and below.
