An oak rocking horse, dated 2005, by Stevenson Brothers, with chestnut mane, red leather and suede paneled saddle, on a trestle rocker frame supported by dual baluster columns, dual plinth base, with applied label for the maker and serial numbered 5695, 120cm high overall, the base 141cm long, 45cm wide
Modern carved oak rocking horse with spindle backed chairs to either end. Hand painted horse with leather saddle and stirrups. 233cm long The rocking horse is in very good condition however there are some stress cracks at the top of the legs and at the horses neck (where there are joins) the oak base and spindle chairs are all excellent
An early 20th century stained pine rocking horse with horse hair mane and tail, leather tack and single glass eye (one missing) on trestle base, length of base 150cm.Additional InformationWear and tear throughout, one eye missing as stated, the mane now rather thin, some wear and distress to the leather, general scratches, scuffs and marks, etc.
A good medium sized F.H Ayres Rocking horse, early 19th century, the dapple grey wooden carved horse on safety rockers, with nicely carved head with open mouth and flared nostrils, glass eyes, and pricked ears, padded leather saddle, tack and reins, real hair mane and tail, (condition: professionally restored), 45 ¼” (115cm) tall, 50” (127cm) long.
