A BESWICK SWISH TAIL HORSE IN ROCKING HORSE GREY GLOSS, first version, model no 1182, with extensive damage, comprising of both ears glued on and one also chipped, all four legs glued on at approximately 4cm up, also general crazing in the glaze, printed mark, adhesive pads to underside of hooves
A painted wooden rocking horseModernOn a stained pine base, with rectangular plaque inscribed 'THE ROCKING HORSE WORKS NO 248'152cm wide; 118cm highCondition report:Overall, in good condition with wear and tear, shrinkage, scuffs and chips commensurate with use and age. Most notably several horizontal shrinkage cracks, including one to the body of horse running the length of it’s right side and also a wider crack running along the base of the neck. Further shrinkage cracks to it’s left side of the neck, with others to the head, together with chips around the mouth area.
A QUANTITY OF BOXED JUNIOR MAGIC SETS, assorted Classic, Coin & Puzzle variations, Puzzle Cubes, plastic cars and sets of Brush Markers, Colouring Fibre Pens and Magic Markers, majority still sealed in original packaging (three boxes) a modern wooden rocking horse, covered in brown plush with string tail and mane, painted mouth, nose and hooves, leather saddle, reigns and bridle, metal stirrups, no makers marking, some minor wear to plush, mane and rocker but otherwise appears complete and in fairly good condition, length of horse approximately 74cm, length of rocker approximately 105cm, height approximately 80cm
Keble Family.- Keble (Mary Caroline, wife of Rev. Thomas Keble, 1831-1920) Photograph album, 38 albumen photographs, some mounted, others loosely inserted, original half morocco, gilt, slightly rubbed, photographs 170 x 144mm. & smaller, album sm. 4to, 1867. ⁂ Views including: Hursley Church, Bisley, Bussage Church & Parsonage, Bournemouth Church, Pleasure Grounds & Sands Bournemouth, Ilfracombe Church, Lantern Hill, the harbour and street scene Ilfracombe, and several other views, church interiors, and one of two children on a rocking horse. Mary was the second wife of Thomas Keble, Jnr., (1826-1903), vicar of Bisley, who was the younger brother of Thomas Keble. All Saints at Bisley, was the the 'Mother Church' of the "Oxford Movement".

Carved Middle Eastern rocking horse, with finely carved detail including a flowing mane and tail, with further carved detail including body armor, saddle, harness and bridle. The rocking horse is crafted in two parts the carved horse fits into a rocking base, (the horse is approx 120 w x 72 cms h) this measurement does not include the base.
