These early designs originate from the private collection of the late John Fabb of AR Fabb, the film's patch maker. Similar logos can be seen worn by various supporters and backroom staff in the film . This lot comprises a pencil drawing, rendered on card and outlined with small pinholes, and a larger hand-drawn and coloured piece labelled "Badge Typical Detail Buckle". The larger page features handwritten pencil annotations and is adhered to card backing. ROLLERBALL (1975) - Houston HelmetA Houston helmet from Norman Jewison's sci-fi sports film Rollerball. Jonathan E. (James Caan) and his teammates all wore their helmets while representing the Houston Rollerball team. The fibreglass helmet is painted in Houston's colours of orange and silver, with a red triangular section and metal studs at the front. It is lined with foam padding, has a moveable face guard, and an adjustable chin strap. It is intentionally distressed to appear well-used, and has additional wear from production use and age, most notably scuffs and scratches.
