An incredible rare vintage 1950's Tri-ang / Triang made Land Rover Series 1 child's pedal car. Metal body, in Land Rover green, with white metal wheels and silver chrome-style trim. Tri-Ang labels to rear, and finer details such as a miniature tax disc, towing hitch and Land Rover badges also present. A must-have pedal car for Land Rover enthusiasts. Rare. Measures approx; 94cm long. From a private collection of vintage pedal cars. Most of which have been fully and professionally restored to a better-than-factory condition. Where electrics are fitted, they are fully working, and where engines are fitted these too are also fully working. 14 Tri-ang Spot On model Data Sheets for various different cars including Aston Martin DB3, Austin Healey '100-Six', Bentley 4dr Sports Saloon,  Ford Consul Classic, Ford Zodiac, Jaguar 3.4, Jaguar XK SS, 2 for the Morris 1100, Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith, two different versions of the Rover 3 Litre card,  Vauxhall Cresta, and 14' G.P. Sailing Dinghy.  Each of the earlier models in the range which were housed in all card boxes, were supplied with a 13 x 8cm paper data sheet which consisted of a colour picture of the vehicle on one side and technical specifications of the actual car on the reverse. Data sheets were then folded so that they could be accommodated in the rather small boxes. As a result, the cards in this lot have variable amounts of, predominantly vertical, folding and all are contained in seven clear plastic wallets. (14)

All of the models have been repainted, with the Dinky Toys being housed in boxes ranging from P to G, the Corgi Gift set 17 comes with G+ plinth and outer box. (5)

Overall the models are in Very Good condition with a few paint chips and minor imperfections. A 1999 Rover 200 BRM LE, registration number V942 FLK, chassis number SARRFCNLHXD434541, engine number 18K4KM07, British racing green/orange. The Rover 200 BRM LE was officially revealed at the 1998 British International Motor Show as a limited production model, one of only 1,109 produced with 797 been allocated to the UK market. It featured 20mm lowered suspension, revised shock absorbers, stiffened springing and uprated brake master cylinder. The interior was trimmed in red leather seat facings with diamond design and additional red leather trim with aluminium detailing. V942 FLK was built on 26th April 1999 and is number 603 of the 797 produced for the UK market. The Rover was dispatched to SMC Rover, Cowley Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex on 2nd September 1999, was registered by the dealer and sold to its first private owner on 20th November 1999. He owned the car until September 2016 when our vendor purchased it. The Rover has featured in magazines and has been widely shown by our vendor in the South West.
