A sapphire half eternity ring, channel set step cut sapphires in a yellow plain polished square-shaped shank, finger size J, and a white five stone ring, finger size S The sapphire ring is in good condition. It is stamped '750' and in our opinion would test as gold. The five stone ring is tarnished. The stones may be white sapphire but have not been tested. It is stamped '585' and in our opinion would test as gold. Gross weight 3.6 grams. CR made 25th August 2016.

A CBE awarded to Dr E T Cook along with a cased citation and wax seal, together with an album of letters congratulating Dr Cook on his award and another album with various correspondence including a 1937 coronation invitation Other Notes: Edgar Thomas Cook was born in 1880 and began his career in 1898. In 1904, became the assistant organist of Worcester Cathedral under Sir Ivor Atkins. In 1909, he became organist of Southwark Cathedral and remained there until his death in 1953.
