18th Century Needle Work Embroidery of a Young Girl, in a cream dress with pink trims and seed pearl set clasp, wearing a blue and cream scarf, holding a cornucopia enclosing flowers and a pale blue parrot to her left hand, brown hair, pink striped shoes, amongst a back ground of flowers in pink, green, cream and blue, worked in silk threads on a cream silk ground, in a gilt frame, 35cm by 46cm. The panel has been cut down? Hole to her left arm, wear around the edges of the silk. Backing silk is stained and discoloured, colours are faded overall. Chips to the gilt frame.

λ Patrick Heron (British 1920-1999) St Ives scarf, Silk scarf Signed and dated 48 as part of the design (top left) 79 x 73cm (31 x 28½ in.) This scarf design was created in 1948 for Patrick's father Tom Heron, producer of Cresta silks. The scarf was only printed in 1985 for the Tate Gallery's 1985 St Ives 1939-1964 exhibition. It shows St Ives, the harbour and bay seen from the balcony of the studio/cottage of the artist.
