Links vorne am Abzugsbügel "VP" im Dreieck, Trommelrückseite "55", vorne Stern. Ladepforte innen mit Montagenr. "516". Am Rahmen Patentdaten neben Rampant Colt. Lauf, Abzugsbügel, Griff, Hahn (seitlich blank) und Trommel schwarz glänzend brüniert, nur der Griffrücken leicht matt. Rahmen buntgehärtet. Winziger Rostfleck (1 mm) an der Trommelrückseite. Schwarze Hartgummigriffschalen mit Fischhaut und Rampant Colt, innen eingekratzt Seriennummer und gemarkt "COLT'S HTFD. CONN.". Im originalen schwarzen Karton, der Deckel in Gold bedruckt mit Colt-Logo außen, "Colt Single Action Army" innen. Keine Seriennummer am Etikett. Beiliegend das originale Colt Werkzeug in Papiertüte, Kunststofflaufbürste, Fettpapier. Maße 32 x 12 x 5 cm. On the left side of the frame patent data and rampant colt. "55" on back of cylinder, a star on the front. "VP" (Verified Proof) within triangle on left front bow of trigger guard. The loading gate bearing assembly number "516". Glossy bluing, with case-hardened frame and hammer, the sides of the hammer polished, the back strap matte. A tiny pit (1 mm) on the back of the cylinder. Black hard rubber grips with chequering and rampant colt, the serial number scratched on the inside, marked "COLT'S HTFD. CONN.". In original black box, the lid marked with Colt logo in gold, the inside "Colt Single Action Army". No serial number on the original label. Originale Colt round flat screwdriver in paper bag, metal cleaning rod, wrapping paper. Dimensions 32 x 12 x 5 cm. A German Second War Red Cross Mans Hewer. An excellent blade, non maker marked as standard, much cross grain finish remaining with its original saw tooth edge and screwdriver flat tip. The plated finish to the hilt is slightly toned, to the left hand edge of the hilt it appears at some stage to have been used as a hammer and a section of approximately 3cm length has indentations. Celluloid grips, the outer grip in serrated style undamaged, the rear plain grip slightly chipped to one edge in the, area which has been used as a hammer. The scabbard finish would appear to have been restored, very good condition £200-£240 --- This is an age restricted lot: the successful buyer will be required to either collect in person, or arrange specialist shipping.
