George V large silver twin handled dish of circular form, the edge applied with a grape and vine leaf pattern, the twin cast handles decorated with flowers and scrolls the shallow shaped centre pierced and chased with scrolling leaf and fruit design around four shield shaped vacant cartouche, supported on a collette foot, hallmarked Sheffield 1926, makers mark Levesley Bros, 31cm diameter, 40cm overall, 1184gms
Georgian mahogany bonheur de jour with folding writing surface enclosing a pair of recessed moulded glass inkwells with Sheffield plated covers, the upper part enclosed by a pair of astragal glazed doors with dentil cornice, with three frieze drawers upon tapering square legs. 26½" (hinges re-set, possibly altered from a washstand, basin hole filled in).
comprising one by Butler, 16.5cm blade with clipped back point, stamped GEORGE BUTLER & CO. TRINITY WORKS SHEFFIELD ENGLAND with riveted two-piece finely chequered horn pistol grip, contained in its tooled brown leather scabbard also stamped with BUTLER SHEFFIELD and a key, and a further basic Bowie knife in poor condition.
