Der Münzsatz wurde mit einer Set-Auflage in Höhe von 970 Stück anlässlich des 25jährigen Jubiläum der Unabhängigkeit Indonesiens ausgegeben. COMPLETE TEN-PART COIN SET INDONESIA 1970, consisting of five gold coins of 25.000 (verso General Sudirman), 20.000 (Garuda), 10.000 (Wayang dancer), 5.000 (Manjushri) and 2. 000 (Bird of Paradise) Rupiah, as well as five silver coins of 200, 250, 500, 750 and 1.000 Rupiah, approx. 137,5g fine gold, the largest gold coin numbered "173", original silk covered case, INDONESIA, 1970, Provenance: North German collection of a diplomat stationed in Indonesia. The coin set was issued with a set edition of 970 pieces on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of Indonesia's independence.
