A CHINESE BRONZE ORNAMENT, TANG TO LIAOChina, Tang Dynasty (618- 907) - Liao dynasty (916-1125). The bronze ornament cast in openwork to depict a dragon between lotus flowers. Fine naturally grown patina.Condition: Good, original condition, remarkable considering the age of this plaque! Some wear and losses. Found in Irrawaddy River Basin in Burma, the countries largest and most important commercial waterway. A FINE KHMER NECKLACEKhmer Empire, 14th-16th century. Striking beauty of vivid, orange-brown delicate terracotta beads placed on 5 parallel cords. Additionally, the necklace is decorated with 2 larger circular beads from Indonesia and six light-green and middle in size ending beads from India. The terracotta brown-orange beads were found at an ancient Khmer site in Northern Thailand, to where the Khmer had extended their empire during the 11th and 12th centuries.
