A silver conical flask, London 1901, 190.7g, length 23 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lightly engraved 'To John Thompson from a few old friends, on his 50th Birthday, April 19th 1908.' Lid turns and closes smoothly, very minor surface knocks, requires cleaning, lid has a slight crease in the silver running horizontally. Marks a little rubbed.
A 20th Century oak three bottle tantalus, c.1930, with carved floral and foliate decoration, brass handles and mounts, the hinged front section opening to reveal an upholstered compartment, containing three small stemmed glasses, fitted with three square form glass decanters and stoppers, each with silver plated labels reading ‘Gin’ ‘Madeira’ and ‘Sherry’, 35.5cms wide.
