Taxidermy: A replica Thylacine skull by Luke Williams, recent, 36cm high by 35cm wide The cast of the Thylacine skull was taken directly from the skull of an animal that died in the London Zoo in the early years of the 20th century. The actual skull is now privately owned and is considered to be the largest Thylacine skull in existence.

A Chinese bronze bodhisattva, Qing dynasty (1644-1911), of Mahakala, the six-armed protector wearing elaborate beaded jewellery, holding a kapala and karttrka in his lower hands in front of his chest, his face wearing a wrathful expression with bared fangs and bulging eyes, centred by a third eye, and surmounted by a skull and jewel diadem, 5.5cm high, three further Buddhist miniatures, 3 to 4cm high, and a gilt-lacquered standing figure, 6.2cm high (5)Condition report: Mahakala - missing base. Bronze fire gilt Tibet , 17th to 18th century Dimensions: Height 26 cm by 19 cm Weight: 2423 grams This is a fierce emanation of a yidam in the Tantric Buddhism, shown in a flaming aureole with a female consort called Vajravarahi in tight embrace called yab yum position. They are standing on top of two prostrate and kneeling creatures. Besides clasping his consort in his tight embrace, his other ten hands are holding various objects and weapons like severed heads, a spear with a crescent moon, a damaru drum, a vajra, a battle hatchet and so on. He has four faces, each wearing a crown enclosing high chignon. Vajravarahi is dressed in a skirt with many turquoise stone inlay and a skull garland around the hip. This is a very dramatic and emotional depiction of "The Binding of the Wheel" tantra.

Jambhala is naked and only the sacred thread covering the chest. He is holding the mongoose in his left hand which is spewing a beam of jewels. In his other hand he is holding a skull cup with a citrus fruit inside. His face is angry-looking with a third eye between the eyebrows.

Here seated on a double reverse lotus base with beaded rim in lotus position wearing a robe over his garment. He is backed by an open-work mandorla and flanked by two standing adorants who form mudras of fearlessness. Guru Rinpoche is holding a skull cup filled with the nectar of life in his left hand, the other hand is raised in front of his chest forming a mudra. The khatvanga staff is placed on his left shoulder. He is adorned with jewellery and a headdress. His face is awake and attentive. The mandorla and aureole are removable.

His gaze is turning towards his raised hand also looking into the distance. His whole body is adorned with beaded chains and jewellery, a flower garland decorates his belly. He has a black beard and bushy eyebrows. Cast in two parts fire gilt , slightly rubbed. Face cold gilt
