The lock may not be original and the escutcheon is loose. There is a section of wood which is infilled and repaired to the right hand side of the door, this may signify a change to the mechanism. There is no key to lock the door. Coins do go into the mechanism and into the cylinder to be awarded for the prize. The ball does release adn spin around and returns from all 'prize / no prize' exit holes. The ball willo release regardless if any money has been inserted or not. Cannnot guarantee that the mechanism is in full working order.PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS LOT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR IN-HOUSE POSTAGE
A Mini-Sega miniature slot machine, mid 20th century circa 1955, the top with glass gaming aperture protected by a flip-over cover with enamel pay-out table to one side, the front with thumb operated coin slot and pay-out slot with drop-down flap, the body 18.5cm W x 21cm D x 21cm H, with key, original receipt, parts catalogue and a small quantity of sixpences (4) CONDITION REPORT:The machine appears to be in working order, with the reels spinning when a coin is inserted, and an appropriate pay out delivered for a given combination, however we cannot guarantee the longevity or reliability of the machine, nor probability of results.

As bell slot machines began to decline, in 1939, Mills succeeded in creating this commercially successful slot machine that also features an escalator bell. This is an original condition slot in a good as found condition. Backdoor is missing the lock, but is original. Award card and reel strips are original.
