A 19th Century Spode / Coalport / Worcester manner hand painted tea service / tea set. Decorated in cobalt with gilt details and white cartouche panels depicting floral sprays. Some pieces with painted number 402 to underside. Comprises a teapot with stand, two large bowls, larger slop bowl, creamer jug, six teacups, seven coffee cans and sixteen saucer plates. Teapot measures approx; 25cm wide.

AMENDMENT: Please note, one teacup, "On the River Thames", is a later replacement by Spode, marked as such to the underside. A Derby porcelain topographical part tea and coffee service, c.1820, iron red crowned crossed baton and D marks, each painted with a rural landscape named on the underside, with gilt foliate scrollwork to a cobalt blue ground, comprising: a milk jug, 10cm high, an oval dish (AF), two cake plates, 21.5cm diameter, eight side plates, 14.2cm diameter, ten coffee cans, 7cm high, 6cm diameter, with six associated saucers, 12.3cm diameter, and eleven teacups, 8.4cm diameter, with three associated saucers, 12.8cm diameter; together with two miniature Royal Crown Derby collectibles, 20th century, comprising a milk jug and a bowl (lot) (damages)Condition Report: As mentioned in the cataloguing, there are damages and condition issues with this lot. The oval dish ("Yampton near Birmingham") is at fault and in three pieces, this could be professionally restored. Four of the coffee cans ("Village of Colle Italy", "In the Isle of Wight", "Near Wednesbury", "Farnham Surrey") are missing their handles, one ("Fiddeford Bridge, Port Elliot") has two wire repairs to the handle, another ("On the Devonshire Coast") has a chip to the rim and re-glued handle, another ("Builder's Abbey, Salop") has a nail repair and re-glued handle. Six of the teacups ("In Holland", "On the Severn", "Keswick Lake", "{-}blow Head", "On the River Thames", "at West Bromwich") are missing their handles, "On the Severn" also has several cracks through the cup, one ("Glastonbury Abbey") has a staple repaired and re-glued handle with small cracks at the rim where it meets the handle, another ("Near Twickenham, Surrey"), has two cracks through the handle. One of the side plates ("On the Dover") has two large staple repaired cracks through the well. One of the cake plates ("Oreston Passage Plymouth") has a spreading crack from rim to centre, the other ("Fall of Lowdore") has a hairline crack and loss at the rim. One of the saucers has a hairline crack through the well. All pieces have general wear including flaking of gilding, some firing flaws to the footrims, bleeding of blue colour, and crazing. Please note, one teacup ("On the River Thames") is a matched later replacement by Spode, marked to the underside as such, this is distinct from the Derby teacup of the same name mentioned above.
