19th century Spode vases, including a circa 1820 large spill vase finely painted with sprays of flowers and fruit reserved on a gold ground and heightened with enamel beading, approx 16.5 cms together with a pair of smaller spill vases circa 1820 finely painted in a similar fashion, nr 711 all three marked Spode nr 711 to base in red approx 12 cms h. (af)April Sale The larger of the three is in good condition, beading is in good condition with one bead with a little enamel loss, gilding is in good condition. The pair of spill vases has not fared so well, one has a fine hairline to the inside but this does not travel to the outside, the beading is in good condition; the second one has a nasty chip to the rim with a vertical crack however the beading and body of the vase are in good condition.
