A Clarice Cliff Winston Churchill toby jug, circa 1940, modelled as the First Sea Lord seated on a British bulldog and holding a camouflage-painted battleship, the integral plinth base inscribed 'Going into action and may God defend the right', printed Royal Staffordshire Pottery and Clarice Cliff marks and hand painted 'No 34' to the underside31cm highIn seemingly good condition with no apparent damages or repairs, examined under UV light. Minor crazing only.
A pair of 19th century Staffordshire pottery coursing dogs with hares one having the hare in the mouth, one with hare lying beside, each having floral encrusted decoration, raised on oval plinth bases, 10 7/8in. (27.7cm.) high. (2)* Condition: One with hairline to top and bottom of right front leg, the other with chip to top of right ear, some paint rubbing, overall good.
A pair of Victorian Staffordshire figures of a boy and milkmaid with cows both white glazed with painted and gilt details, the oval naturalistic bases each with a stream, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) high.* Provenance: Oliver-Sutton Antiques* Condition: Both in good condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. Several underglaze chips to the base edges from the making. Some gilt wear to horns and base lining.
A 19th century Staffordshire porcelaneous figure of a Magician c.1830, the conjuror wearing a feathered turban, standing between a chair and a small table, performing a cup trick, on a gilt lined base, 5 5/8in. (14.25cm.) high.* Provenance: Oliver-Sutton Antiques* Condition: Two tiny chips to edge of base, one possibly from the making. Minor gilt wear. No other faults.
An early 19th century Staffordshire pottery pearlware figure, 'Sloth' standing on a square, inscribed base, in front of a blue flowered bocage, 8 5/8in. (21.9cm.) high, faults.* Condition: Probable repair and restoration around top of tree trunk to back and bocage - old and well executed, but the finish to the decoration looks inconsistent. Several glaze chips to lower edges of coat.
A mid-19th century Staffordshire porcelain serving platter possibly Ridgway, transfer printed and painted with a central floral spray and conforming sprays within six shaped reserves to the cobalt blue and gilt lattice border, worn printed mark to base, 20¼in. (51.5cm.) long.* Condition: Several glaze flaws and small pre-firing chip to one end of the rim. Small firing crack to footrim. Some glaze scratching and a little gilt wear. Good overall.
A cased set of 19th century Staffordshire enamel decanter labels each of escutcheon shape, to include IRISH, GIN, BRANDY, WHISKEY, SHERRY, one label missing, painted with flowers within pink borders in original green leather fitted case.* Condition: One label missing, Brandy with enamel loss to shoulder, box with wear to corners etc.
A 18th century Staffordshire green glazed leaf plate the shaped plate with moulded daisy flower decoration, stalk loop handle, 9 7/8in. (25.1 cm.) long.* Provenance: Jonathan Horne Antiques Limited, Kensington Church Street, London, Dec. 2000. Original invoice with lot.** Condition: Glaze rubbing spots in two places to inner, leaf tip with grazes to rim, rubbing to rim edge in one place, very appealing to the eye.
A rare pair of Staffordshire pottery tulips c.1825, the open tulip, standing amongst flowers and leaves, raised on shaped white bases with gilt trim, 4 7/8in. (12.5cm.) high, both restored. (2)* Provenance: H. C. Mote, Antique Porcelain, Ponton Road, London, June 1996. Original invoice with lot.** Condition: Both restored to upper petals, one having large repair, around 1in, long and deep, (well done), other area's of repair to petals and leaves, tiny flea-bite nibbles to smaller flowers, very pleasing to the eye.
A 18th century Staffordshire green glazed cabbage leaf dish c.1775, 10¾in. (27.4cm.) long, together with a Copeland majolica glazed twin handle cabbage leaf dish, two Wedgwood majolica leaf dishes and another. (5)* Condition: Staffordshire dish with nibbles, small chips and rubbing to rim, both Wedgwood leaf dishes with restoration - one has been broken and restored, the other has three restored rim chips to one end.
A pair of Staffordshire models of zebra 2nd half 19th century, standing on oval rustic bases applied with moss, (restored), 7 5/8in. (19.4cm.) high. (2)* Provenance: Douglas Bryan, Cranbrook, Kent, Nov. 1996. Original invoice with lot.** Condition: Both with restoration to ears, one also restored at tail.
A pair of Victorian Staffordshire flatback Zebras standing facing left and right on oval gilt lined bases, 8¾in. (22.2cm.) high. (2)* Provenance: Gerald Clark Antiques, Edgware, Middx., June 1998. Original invoice with lot.** Condition: One with hairline running length of right side / back, otherwise appears good.

Manufacturer's slip in albums (x 13) - Noted: 7 x Park Drive sets by Gallaher in good condition and 5 x Senior Service photographic series.3. A box of various hot air balloon photographs, transparencies and negatives depicting various advertisers of circa. 1970's.There are 39 10"x8" colour pictures with some duplication. Noted balloons are J & B Rare. Staffordshire B.S. Regal Motors etc. plus a smaller 8"x6" aerial image (x3) and a 7"x5" inflating balloon also includes the negatives and 3 transparencies. A few damaged photos are at the base of the box.
