Silver Darlings. Stained Glass. My thoughts about Lowestoft Museum and the history of the town led me to consider how the sea and fishing have been a sustaining factor for the town over time. My piece is called Silver Darlings because this is a term used for the Herring. I often include sea glass collected on Pakefield beach in my work. Maybe this glass could be linked with the timeless turnings of the tide and the returning shoals of fish.
