A good American mantel clock in the Gothic style. Two train movement striking on a bell, 4.5 inch dial with centre numeral disk. Glazed door with heron painted on glass. Case veneered in mahogany and stained wood. 16 ins high x 8 ins wide x 4 ins deep. Condition report: original condition. Pendulum and weight present. Bottom of case has scuffs to edges. Needs good clean, movement not tested.

Crown pulls out to position one, hands complete a full 12 hour rotation. Dial in good order, no cracks, chips or losses. All lettering and numerals are crisp and clear, no loss. The luminous infill to the markers is worn and stained. Moderate scratching to the glass. Case in good order, there are a couple of relatively deep, mid-sized scratches, as well as general wear and tear, but no splitting, denting or signs of repair. There is moderate creasing and wear to the strap around the fourth buckle hole, as well as some misshaping to the strap throughout, though this is largely in good order. Buckle in working order.

A pair of stained glass roundels, 21.5cm (2)Condition report: Fading and slight rubbing to the paint and decoration throughout. The darker coloured roundel had markings to the glass - including small discoloured marks and an air bubble to the surface. The other roundel has slight marking across the glass front and repair to the hanging hook. A chip to the reverse near the frame.
