Rare WWI Stereoscope cards and viewer, includes very rare images of the remans of a Zeppelin shot down near Colchester & imprint of fallen Zeppelin crewmen with other rare images of First Aid Dogs, Arial combat, Sapper’s digging underground and Commonwealth troops going into action.40 images in total.
Two Stereoscopic Viewers together with a quantity of cards, topographical and family, lots to sort. Housed in a wooden chest. A stereoscope is a device for viewing a stereoscopic pair of separate images, depicting left-eye and right-eye views of the same scene, as a single three-dimensional image.

British WWII Military Stereoscope Universal Bar-Parallax Tyle PB2, made C.F.C. In its original wooden box, lenses are in very good condition however it appears to be missing two tools for use however there are extra lenses still present. Otherwise a scarce boxed piece of Artillery related equipment.

A late Victorian tabletop Stereoscope viewer by A. Mattey, French, a small logo of trademark 8&9 is found inside the device reading 'PMF' (Maison Pennard & Fouquet) with a small star above, veneered walnut burl wood case of pillar box form, with ebonised edging and handles with ornate brass handles to the sides, ground glass screen and mirror for both glass and card stereoviews in a revolving function, 25.5 by 28 by 48cm high, contains over ten stereoscopic cards and two glass slides, one of the Kaiser Wilhelm monument in Koblenz, the other of a Parisian city scene, a/f.Condition: The handle does not fully rotate the slides, there are splits to the corners of the case, the Parisian glass slide is cracked.

Scenes to include a German gun battery firing, Germans crossing the Rhine, The arrival of General Busch, surrender of French troops & Hitler leaving the armistice train carriage following France's surrender. The book also contains eight colour prints relating to the invasion. Spine defective and fading to front boards.
