Jean-Pierre-Marie Jazet (French, 1788-1871), after Charles Auguste Steuben (French, 1788-1856)'Bataille de Waterloo'aquatint, circa 185078 x 102cmCondition report: Poor condition. Approximately four long vertical tears running down and spreading through the image, starting at the top edge. The central tear extends to around three quarters of the way through the print. Attempts have been made to restore these tears. Damage and restoration to the paper top left corner, at the top left edge, and in the centre around the horse. The paper has browned and discoloured and there is some loss of pigment to the ink. Not seen outside of glazed frame.
