Malacca walking cane, hardwood ball handle inlaid with geometric metal stringing and dotwork, silver collar dated London 1919, L83cm Condition Report The stick is in used condition the handle has some minor losses from the dotwork. The silver collar and the cane have small dents with expected age related wear.
A plaited leather bound cosh, with bulbous end 51cm long, an Indian walking stick, the shaft carved all over and blackened with alternate rows of bearded heads and geometric patterns, with brass handle in the form of two heads, 96cm long and a walking stick inscribed Chamonix with goat horn and cloven foot handle, 92cm long (3)
A lacrosse stick, two polo mallets, one by J Grey & Son and one by Salter & Son, together with two hockey sticks CONDITION REPORTS Lacrosse stick has some breaks to the leather. Stamped "Victoria no 1 Hattersley & Son Makers", has been pyrographed with a name and initials over the years, possibly "H A Pinnell". Has some signs of worm to one end of the handle. Polo mallets have some knocks and bumps throughout. One hockey stick is by Forrester & Sons London. The other by Elvery & Co Dublin Cork & London and is 21 oz. Both have general wear and tear, knocks, bumps etc. The Elvery stick has possibly been re-strung. All items have wear and tear, knocks, bumps, etc conducive with age and use - see images for more details. The Forrester & Sons has a felt tip name of "Fat L" on it
