With three spirit labels, stamped marks.There is no key, the frame opens to allow access to the decanters but does not lock in position.One decanter has a rim chip. The mounts appear to be chrome plated and have the patent number 42105, the decanter labels are unmarked and probably plated.

A Georgian 19th century tantalus comprising a mahogany case containing a silver stand with a loop handle on four scrolling feet, London 1838 Charles Reily & George Storer, the stand holding four cut glass decanters with cork stoppers with silver tops each inscribed "Whiskey", "Rum", "Curacoa", "Brandy" and each with marks London 1854 George Adams, engraved armorial on four sides. Label in lid of case for "Catchpole & Williams Silversmith & Jewellers, No.120 Regent Street". The case with brass plate on lid with engraved armorial, brass escutcheon plate and inset brass handles, 9 3/8 x 9 3/8in. (23.8 x 23.8cm.) x 11in. (27.94cm.) high.
