Shallow chip to the tip of the spout. Knop of the cover has broken off but is mostly available.Teapot- cover is lacking. Haircrack around lower part of the body, approx. 9cm length. Short haircrack beside lower handle terminal. Minor glaze nick to tip of spoutTankard- the handle has repaired and rivetted at each end with some restoration beside the top of the handle

The handle is completely restored and probably a replacement. Some restoration around one handle terminal where it joins the body. Minor nicks around tip of spout. Some fritting to the glaze around the foot.

(5)The blue and white teacup has some fine body cracks. It has an unglazed rim so could have had chips ground out. The other teacup has a slight glaze chip to the rim, wear to enamels and gilding. Others good condition.

A Chinese Yixing teapot. Height 7.5cm, width 12.5cm, depth 7.5cm. Maurice Jenkins (1933-2022). North Cornwall collector. Maurice was a lifetime collector and started in the 1950s. He opened a shop in Liskeard in the 1970s called Canon Hill Antiques. He visited a number of Middle Eastern countries in his lifetime including Egypt in the late 1970's when his interest in Islamic and Asian antiques began. He was a man with an eye for quality and a love of antiques, history and travel who purchased privately and at auction over the decades. Over a lifetime of purchasing privately and at auction, he created an eclectic ensemble of collections reflecting his interests. He died a few weeks before his 90th birthday and was still buying until that time.

Signs of age and use. Minimal glaze and firing faults as expected. Some chips to the spout, otherwise seems ok.

Silver plated finish wearing off in places. Smaller teapot with dent/mishapen rim. Some small dents to the larger teapot.
Ray Finch (1914-2012) at Winchcombe Pottery studio pottery blue glazed teapot with incised decoration and bamboo handle with a similar teabowl decorated with fish, the teapot with impressed seal near the handle, 23cm high overall including the handle, the tea bowl marked to the base, 7cm high (2) Minimal production and firing faults as expected. Crazing to the glaze. Signs of age, wear and use. Otherwise seems ok.
Geoffrey Whiting (1919-1988) studio pottery teapot, with white glaze and brushwork leaf motifs, impressed seal marks to the footrim, 11.5cm high overall, a small Avoncroft pottery bowl with tenmoku glaze and speckled interior, impressed seal mark to the footrim, 7cm high overall and an iron glazed bowl and a Tony (Anthony) Davies studio pottery iron glazed bowl, impressed mark to the footrim, 9.5cm high (3) Overall wear, marks and minimal scratches to all. The teapot lid has some very small chips to the underside. Davies bowl has a small bruise to the rim with possible tiny repairs, might be a glaze fault. Otherwise seems ok.
Judith da Fano (1919–2000) Victorian style tea set, with handpainted decoration of various landscapes, comprising of a teapot, 'Derwent Water 1972', 23cm high, milk jug 'Grasmere 1972', 9cm high another milk jug 'Oxenfell 1975', 9cm high, sugar bowl 'Rybal 1972', 6cm high, 'Coniston' teacup, 'Eskdale' teacup, 'Langdale' teacup, 'Tarn Hows' teacup, 'Kentmere' teacup, 5.5cm high (9) Teapot lid is chipped. Kentmere teacup with discoloured hairline crack. Overall wear, marks and scratches. Would benefit from a gentle clean.
Edward VII silver four piece tea service comprising a teapot, hot water jug, cream jug and twin handled sucrier, with foliate and ribbon engraved decoration, bearing marks for Philip Ashberry & Sons, Sheffield, 1902, the teapot and water jug with ebonised handles and finials, the tallest piece measures 22.5cm high overall, 1445g approx overall (4) Overall signs of wear age and use. Three pieces bear the same date code, the other bears the same maker but different year (illegible). Some scratches and very minor dents in places.
Carter & Co (Poole Pottery interest)and later pieces, including an early Carter & Co green glazed teapot stand or trivet, with impressed mark one to the reverse, 19cm overall, a tall tapering vase on a grey ground with blue and purple banded and stripe decoration, mark three incised to the base and 'CF' painted to the base, 30cm high, a large 'Portuguese' striped vase in green colourway, mark three incised to the base and 'CF' painted to the base, 15cm high, a large bowl, decorated with sprigs, mark three incised to the base, 24.5cm across x 10cm high, a Carter Stabler Adams twin handled vase with blue and yellow painted decoration by Ruth Paveley, with impressed and painted marks to the base, 16cm high and one other vase with banded decoration to the shoulder, with painted, impressed and incised marks to the base, 21cm high (6) All with overall signs of age, wear, use, marks, scratches and crazing to the glaze. The large sprig bowl very dull when tapped. Several cracks and hairline cracks. With some discolouration. The very tall thin vase has discoloured cracks and hairlines to the rim. The green trivet/teapot stand has a small bruise to one corner. The two grey ground vases with pin-holes to the glaze. We have checked both under a UV light because of this and cannot find any signs of restoration. The green striped vase/bowl with very small hairline to the rim (Could possibly be crazing).
