141973 MGB GT V8Reg. no. UDY 437MChassis no. GD2D1125GEngine no. 8600023Transmission: ManualMileage: 81,788 (Indicated)The MGB GT V8 was produced for three years between 1973-1976 using the popular 3500cc Rover V8 engine. The lightweight body, fitted with a larger engine, resulted in a very impressive 0-60 time for the period of 7.7 seconds, capable of embarrassing much newer performance cars. The big V8 was even 25kg lighter than its 4-pot counterpart.Registered in factory ‘Blaise Red’, with a blue draylon interior in August 1973, this MGB GT is one of the earlier V8 examples with steel bumpers. Very unusually, this local car has had just the one owner and has been cherished all that time. In recent years it has seen very little use and dry stored, covering less than 2,000 miles since 2005. The cloth interior, with blue upholstery, presents very well but could benefit from some improvement. The engine runs strong and smooth and is mated to the manual gearbox which appears to select all gears as it should. The exterior and underside are in good solid order and the paintwork is very good bar some minor issues on the bonnet. The car is offered with a current V5C, some service history and two sets of keys. Overall, this is a great example of the GT V8, ready to enjoy, that would benefit from some minor fettling on weekends.Estimate: £8,000 - 10,000** Amendment - Please note that this car has had three owners. It was purchased from a chap in Corsham at six months old by the current owners mother. It was then gifted from the mother to the daughter who offers the car for sale.To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. 162003 Honda S2000Reg. no. WP53 YGAChassis no. JHMAP11304T200291Engine no. F20C21040280Transmission: ManualMileage: 36,846MOT: June 2024Honda’s sports convertible burst on the scene in 1999 to rival the likes of the Mazda MX5 and Audi TT, sporting a 2-litre naturally aspirated VTEC engine that produced 250bhp. Mated to a lovely 6-speed manual gearbox and offering a 50/50 weight balance, it offered fantastic handling and performance. This example in Silverstone Metallic Silver, is one of the last of the AP1 first generation, registered in January of 2004. It has had just one Wiltshire owner since new who used the Honda as a weekend toy, so it has been rarely used. At just 36,000 miles from new, this car is offered with full-service history. The overall condition of the car is really good and it just suffers from some minor paint imperfections including some sun damage to the passenger front wing. It has had a recent new soft top and is sold with a fresh MOT. These sports cars stand far above other cars in their class of the same generation offering better performance and usability. The car is offered with a current V5C document, full-service history, Honda handbooks and even includes its original radio, tool kit and Honda S2000 Pen. A fantastic, low mileage example of an appreciating modern classic from one of the world’s most reliable manufacturers.Estimate: £10,000 - 12,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. 172002 Jaguar XK8 CoupeReg. no. LG02 HDFChassis no. SAJAC41M12NA29165Engine no. TBATransmission: AutomaticMileage: 132,000MOT: ExpiredThe XK8 was made between 1996 - 2005, a sporty coupe with a Jaguar 4-litre V8 that was designed for the discerning gentleman as a great all-rounder, whether you were heading to a business meeting or the local golf club. In coupe form, it produced nearly 300bhp and could achieve 0-60mph in under seven seconds whilst being limited to a top speed of 155mph. Although LG02 HDF has been dry stored for the past couple of years, it presents well, and the black leather interior, with wooden trim, is in good order. The engine appears to run smoothly, and electrics seem to all work as they should. The MOT expired late in 2022, there were only a few advisories last time it was tested but it will require recommissioning before use. At a glance, issues include a saggy roof lining and a small amount of surface rust on the passenger side rear sill. All in all, a great potential purchase of a future classic.Estimate: £1,500 - 2,500To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. 192000 Subaru Impreza WRX STi JDM Bug EyeReg. no. X711 JREChassis No: GDB-004157Transmission: ManualMileage: 147,391 kms (91,584 miles)MOT: August 2023With the first generation of Impreza running for seven years, it was no surprise the GD, 2nd generation came up against some stiff criticism in terms of looks. More recently though it has become far more popular. Only 4079 WRX STi of this period were produced according to the Type RA forum database, of which 2,271 were painted in the iconic 02C Mica blue, like this example. The car produced 276bhp from factory, thanks to STi offering a forged EJ207 engine with uprated heads with VF30 turbo. This was coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with R180 drivetrain. As a result, this generation of Impreza still offers the agile, AWD package that is perfect for B-road blasting. This particular car was registered in Japan in December of 2000. It was then imported into the UK in July 2019 where the current logbook shows just one previous owner. It was imported as a grade 4 and remains in really good order. There is no rust to be seen on the panels, they are good and straight. The underside is very clean only having been in the UK less than four years. The STi interior is also in excellent condition throughout including seat material and bolster wear.It performs exactly how you would expect. It pulls hard with no issues under load, whilst the 6-speed gearbox performs well in all gears and changes really nicely. Everything that has been modified on the car is reversible so you could put it completely back to stock or further enhance the car with more changes. The engine remains the standard EJ207 STi unit. The only modifications are typical import ones and include stainless exhaust system, Greddy boost gauge, Blitz turbo timer, steering wheel and DVD player. It also has a Greddy radiator, NAPAC strut braces, recently fitted Tein Coilovers and a very rare, genuine Varis carbon bonnet which are over £1,400 new plus shipping from the USA. Easily changed if you are not a fan and sold on; it also has a Thatcham alarm system. The car has clearly been looked after in Japan as well as loved here in the UK. It is ready to be used by its new owner. It was last serviced in August 2022 which is when the fresh coilovers and drop links were fitted; a timing belt kit was changed in October of 2021. The sale does include a large amount of history, the majority of parts supplied by Import Car Parts and the work being carried out by Quins Specialist Cars. A spare key and alarm fob are also included. Further images and videos are available upon request.Estimate: £9,000 - 11,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th. 22000 Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG W208Reg. no. Y412 MLGChassis no. TBCEngine no. TBCTransmission: AutomaticMileage: 83,234 milesMOT: ExpiredThe W208 was produced between 1997 - 2003 in coupe and convertible form. The 5.4 litre, V8 AMG version was only produced for the last three years and featured a 342bhp AMG hand-built engine, AMG suspension, AMG brakes, wheels and even larger anti-roll bars. The car was limited to 155mph and does a reported 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds. The engine is mounted to a 5-speed automatic gearbox which was also used for the V12 S-Class so more than capable of dealing with the V8’s torque. This example has not been used since the start of 2022. It runs and drives after testing it around our yard and after a quick clean, presents quite well. In Avantgarde spec, the black leather interior looks very up to date and is in very good order, it also has features such as heated seats and adjustable lumber support. The bodywork is very straight but does have a number of rust bubbles in various areas including the driver’s rear arch. The car will also require a new battery and has two brake fault codes showing including an ABS fault. The brakes look well used but the codes could be showing due to poor battery condition. The sale includes a current V5C document, some previous history and a key.Estimate: £4,000 - 6,000To be auctioned along with a fantastic selection of other vehicles on July 1st at our Showell Farm site, SN15 2NU with viewing on the 29th and 30th of June, you can also join us at our Nostalgia Social cars & coffee event on June 25th.
