The interior with paper lined lid over a cut glass footed mixing bowl flanked by rosewood lids, on bun feet, 30.5 x 15 x 16cms.

A coromandel wood Tunbridge ware desk thermometer by Thomas Barton, of obelisque form, the square plinth base with two panels of cube work and two mosaic panels of floral wreaths, the ivorine scale with mercury thermometer and signed 'T. Barton Tunbridge Wells', 6.5cms sq. at base, 23.5cms high.
