A group of seven 19th century ceramic egg baskets and an early 20th century 'Rooster' teapotComprising of a large late 19th century Staffordshire egg basket with a yellow and black decorated chicken on a yellow basket, a early 19th century pearlware tureen or egg basket in the form of a collared dove seat on a nest (restored), a white Staffordshire pottery egg basket, the chicken with small chicks to either side, the basket highlighted by a border of green and red decoration, a small 19th century Continental white porcelain hen egg basket, a small Staffordshire white pottery hen egg basket, a Staffordshire pottery hen egg basket with a brown and white chicken on a yellow basket, a similar smaller example, a Staffordshire pottery egg basket in the form on a duck, and a Rooster teapot probably by Grimwades, the largest 26cm long, various faults. A COMPOSITE CHANTILLY PORCELAIN PART DINNER SERVICE VARIOUS DATES LAST QUARTER 18TH CENTURY Painted in blue with scattered floral sprays, comprising: a pair of quatrefoil serving dishes; a quatrefoil section small tureen, cover, and stand; another tureen and cover; a pair of sugar bowls; two butter tubs and integral stands (lacking covers); approximately twenty one soup plates; and approximately 107 dinner plates; and various assorted ozier-moulded plates similar and en-suite, comprising; approximately twenty seven plates and ten soup plates, blue hunting horn marksProvenance: from the collection of Victoria, Lady de Rothschild Condition Report: All plates with some wear, although in reasonable condition throughout, but with some damage. Some plates have some small chips and nibbles to the rims, a few chips are large, a few examples with pitting to glaze from manufacture, there are some slight variations in the pattern colour and design, and the sharpness in the decoration- some have a slight blurry appearance. Some plates have an embossed lattice effect to the ceramic around the border, but most are without.
