Louis Vuitton vanity case with fitted interior, signature monogrammed and brass fittings, together with a Louis Vuitton purse and Louis Vuitton key fob with two keys, label numbered 1029952, lock and two keys both numbered 1230803. Purchased by the vendor from Louis Vuitton, Royal Exchange, London, Circa 1990.Vanity case dimensions- 40cm wide x 22.5cm deep x 21cm high.Overall very good condition, as new.Some water marks on the leather label hanging from the top handle (see image). A few tiny scratches to the metal feet on the underside of the case. A very small mark of the interior lip of the case (see image). Purse- has been used but still in very good condition. Key fob wallet- very good condition.
An Edwardian crocodile leather gentleman's vanity case,early 20th century and later, the hinged lid enclosing two lift-out compartments, with silver clasps hallmarked for W A Ellwick Ltd., London, 1908, 70cm wide51cm deep22.5cm highCondition ReportThe case features its original crocodile leather, which has been restored. Weakened over time, the frame has been reinforced and repaired. Inside, missing accessories have been replaced and a damaged panel repaired. Some scratches, scuffs and wear to leather. Light scratches, knocks and tarnish to brass. Interior pieces associated, with some lost. Frame a little misshapen in places, so the lift-out compartments stick a little. Left lock mechanism a bit stiff. No key. Overall appears in fairly good restored condition.
