A Chinese turquoise ground Gu vase with wide flared rim, the main body with scrolling foliate and flower head decoration raised on a flared circular foot in the Ming style 29.7 cm high x 17 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS N.B. Important word "Cloisonné" missing from description though fairly obvious from images one would hope. There is a far amount of misshaping to the rim and a filled dent with bright green wax substance to the area above the centre knop - see images for further detail. The metalwork has some wear to the gilding throughout. The base also has a little misshaping, denting, scratching conducive with age and use but no apparent damage to the enamelwork itself - see images for further detail. Above the central knop there appears to be a crack running around the piece to the enamel but this does not appear to go all the way through, just on the surface around the yellow banding - see images
A Japanese Meji period satsuma vase by Kinkozan, the narrow necked flared rim over floral and foliate decorated shoulders with gilded flower head banding over the main body depicting garden birds amongst trained flowers over a further scrolling foliate and floral banding raised on a circular foot bearing gilt on oxide red seal mark and impressed mark 17 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Has all over crazing. In need of a clean, bit dirty to the interior etc. General wear and tear conducive with age and use to include some minor firing faults etc - see images for more details
A late 18th Century Chinese porcelain baluster shaped vase, the main body polychrome decorated with birds and butterflies amongst blossoming foliage raised on a circular foot 16 cm high together with a prunus blossom decorated ginger jar (no lid) 12.5 cm high, an Imari scallop edged bowl decorated with various fish, crayfish etc 18.5 cm diameter and a willow pattern transfer decorated leaf shaped pickle dish 13 cm x 10.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS The polychrome vase has some losses to the decoration, chips to the glaze at the bottom edge and the top rim. General surface scratches, firing faults etc. The pickle dish is heavily crazed. All items have general wear and tear to include some surface scratches etc. All in need of a very good clean, filthy.
