Gentlemen’s Rolex Submariner vintage stainless steel wristwatch, model 5513/0, serial number 6057058, circa 1983. The black dial with sweep seconds hand and rotating bezel on stainless steel Oyster bracelet. Case 40mm diameter. With original Rolex guarantee dated 1.7.83 purchased from Alexanders Ltd of Guildford Surrey, Rolex Oyster booklet, Rolex International Service Guarantee dated 22.06.2007, spare/original Oyster bracelet and extra links, Rolex box and outer box.Condition report: The watch is currently running and is believed to be keeping good time. The watch was last serviced by E.J.Markham of Colchester in 2014, previously serviced by Rolex on 22.6.2007 when it had a complete overhaul, with receipts for both services. The watch is believed to have only had one previous owner, the vendor purchased the watch in December 1997 from the original owner who purchased the watch when it was new in 1983. The watch has been worn every day by the vendor and therefore the condition is commensurate with daily wear, the bezel is scratched and is lacking the luminous dot, the glass is very scratched. The case and bracelet similarly scratched. Clasp works well. The bracelet was replaced by Rolex when it was serviced in 2007 and is also accompanied by the original bracelet and extra links. Any other replacement parts are unknown. The green Rolex box, wallet and Your Rolex Oyster booklet are all in good condition commensurate with age. The outer Rolex cardboard box might not have belonged to the watch as it has a different model number on the label. The serial number on the watch corresponds with the paperwork and would appear to be a very honest watch with all the supporting items described.
