A 1914-18 British War Medal to 4700 PTE.C.H.BARNES. E.SURR.R. Private Charles Henry Barnes served with the 9TH Batallion, died on 21st August 1916, aged 22 and is commemorated on The Thiepval Memorial, France, a Victorian silver match case, London 1874, a silver handled button hook, a silver cased fob watch, a key, three spoons, a pair of plated nut crackers and four further items, (13).
An 18ct gold cased keyless wind hunting cased gentleman's pocket watch, the gilt three quarter plate jeweled lever movement, detailed Thos Russell & Son, Liverpool, 104355, 18ct gold inner case, initial engraved K.W.W. 7.8.47, the signed enamelled dial with black Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and with an up/down dial and with blued steel hands, Chester 1901, with a case. Condition Report Movement working, dial and hands in good condition, case exterior plain, note initials to inner case exterior.Diameter of watch 53mm, gross weight of watch 127 gms. There are no hands missing. Case maker's initials are T.R. The front cover opens when the winding button is depressed, the inner back cover is a little loose, the outer cover hinge is more firm. There is wear to the silk inside the case lid.

Waltham, Mass 2718710, gold inner case detailed 18K and engraved to the exterior, A.B. Leighton 1918, the caseback and front detailed K18, the signed enamelled dial with black Roman hour numerals outer black Arabic numerals to 60, with subsidiary seconds, side set button to the band, the case exterior with engine turned decoration. Condition Report Watch movement working, dial and hands in good condition, dial cover is glass rather than plastic, all case hinges are in good condition. Case diameter 49.5mm. Gross weight of watch 134 gms.
A base metal circular cased gentleman's chronograph wristwatch, the unsigned black dial with silvered Arabic numerals, two subsidiary dials and with centre seconds, two side set buttons to the band, with an unsigned jewelled movement, the steel back exterior numbered 2237, fitted to a black leather strap. Condition Report Movement currently working, there are some vacant screws or attachments missing from the movement plates (see images), the two side set buttons function very erratically and require attention. Front metal bezel is of different colour base metal to the side of the case as is the steel snap-off caseback, i.e the watch case is of three different base metals. No maker's or retailer's marks to movement, dial or winding button.Watch case diameter 35mm.
