A large eighteenth century tall Whieldon creamware mug with narrow opening, c. 1770. It has applied sprig decoration and has a the typical lead glaze with greens, browns and yellows. 19 cm tall. (1)Condition: In good overall condition. Light crazing and hairlines in the base. Tiny amount of rubbing to the rim restored. Ex-Gary Atkins.

A Staffordshire model of a recumbent cat, with sponged tortoiseshell decoration, moulded T to base, 7cm high, a Whieldon type seated cat, 12cm high and a further model of a seated cat, white glazed, 13.5cm high (3) Provenance: Ruyton Hall, ShropshireCONDITION REPORT:The Staffordshire model shows small losses to the ear tips and firing crack to the edge of the cushion. There are expected firing pits and frits across the surface, and small scratches and surface wear to the decorated finish, particularly the red highlights of the cushion.The Whieldon type model shows minor wear throughout, and some crazing to areas including the head (where a hairline crack may be starting to develop) but no visible chips, cracks or losses.The White model shows losses to the glazed finish on the muzzle and the tail, small chips and losses around the base, and an area of black over-painting to the back.

Small collection of ceramics consisting of: a Staffordshire cow creamer, three Whieldon type plates, a Jackfield jug and a glazed decorative pot in the manner of Wedgwood (6) Condition: surface dust, dirt and scratches to all. Jug, vase, cow creamer and green and blue plate are damaged and restored. The two brown plates have crazing and firing cracks. No major damage that we can see.

A group of 18th century and later porcelain and stoneware including a smallw whieldon-type teapot with relief sprays, grapes and vine leaves, with central rampant bird, length 14cm, a blue and white oval dish, possibly Bow, with central decoration depicting exotic bird and buildings in landscape, length 20cm, a stoneware bird whistle etc (10). Additional InformationThe teapot with large pieces missing from the spout, crack to the body, the cover with numerous chips, losses, cracks. There is a similar jug with large chips, extensive crazing and losses. The blue and white dish with a large crack running through, crazing. The blue Blanc de Chine cups are heavily af with numerous cracks and staining. The pepperettes with a large area of loss to the screw stopper base. The bird whistle is af as the head and been broken and crudely glue back, there is a mug with numerous cracks.

The sponge ware plate with a large crack running through the centre, also large U-shaped piece which has been crudely glued, numerous chips. The smaller cream ware example with large crack running through the body, extensive crazing and chips to the rim. The Heath example with old repairs and touch-ups throughout the plate, scratches to the decoration.
