Post War Parachute Regiment Arnhem D.C.M. Winner Tunic dark blue patrol tunic.  Single breasted, high collar.  Pleated chest pockets with buttoned flaps.  Lower hidden pockets with plain flaps.  Shoulder straps with maroon edging.  Left arm with bullion embroidery, QC cross standards.  Left breast with MBE, DCM, WW2 medal ribbons with MiD, GSM, LS & GC, MSM.  Internal label named "Bentley T.C".  Together with his maroon beret with anodised, QC Parachute Regiment badge.  2 buttons and wings absent from tunic.   Sergeant Bentley dropped into Oosterbeek 18th Sept 1944 with the Mortar Platoon 10th Parachute Batt.  20th Sept, held the top floor of a house on the North East perimeter.  The house was hit and he fell from the top floor to the basement.  He then carried on operating under heavy fire.
