THE WAILERS - CATCH A FIRE LP (UK ORIGINAL - ZIPPO SLEEVE - ISLAND ILPS 9241). A superb original UK pressing of The Wailers 1973 album Catch A Fire (ILPS 9241, 1973 UK pressing on Island Records. The pink-rim labels are lovely bright and clean. ILPS 9241 A-3U/ B-4U matrix, both sides have a second BML matrix scratched out. The record is in Ex+ condition showing very few marks/ the 'zippo' lighter-shaped sleeve with Basing Street London address under the Island logo on the rear is in strong VG+ condition with only minor edge creasing - the pin is fully intact).
Elton John reel to reel tapes - to include 14 reels related to Elton, including interview tapes from 1976 covering history of Elton John for BBC radio series, mainly Paul Gambaccini interviews with Bernie Taupin, Elton John, John Reid, Gus Dudgeon, copies of demos of El Paso, Regimental Sgt Zippo, Bad Side of the Moon. Reels come in Dick James Music boxes; additionally there are CD copies of all reels.
