For the Lion and the Unicorn in the Oak Forests of Faun - Roy Guest presents Tyrannosaurus Rex in concert with John Peel - and Vytas Serelis - Sitar and DAVID BOWIE - MIME. Original 1969 Programme with original Town Hall Birmingham 15th February 1969 ticket. In excellent condition with no rips or tears - Programme measures approx 10 x 8 inches. After leaving John's Children in 1967, Marc Bolan forms the acoustic duo Tyrannosaurus Rex with percussionist Steve Peregrin Took. The duo signs a recording deal with producer Tony Visconti, for release on EMI's Regal Zonophone label. Following a poorly received US tour, Steve Took leaves to work on his own music and is replaced by Mickey Finn

A rare Tyrannosaurus Rex 7in. 1968 demonstration copy of Deborah RZ 3008 in the original picture sleeve, Regal Zonophone records, white label with red A, CW Child Star. The condition of the vinyl is excellent with no visible marks, scuffs or scratches and the labels are clean with the cover, which is in good condition showing its general release date on the reverse.
