Italian Mid-Century Bitossi pottery bull, by Aldo Londi, mustard yellow glaze, impressed decoration, marked '4170 Italy', 33cm long, 16.5cm high.Condition report:There is a very fine hairline running across the ridge of the neck, running behind the bull's left horn. There is a similar fine hairline running across the ridge of the spine towards the tail; and another fine hairline running across the bull's left eye. Small shallow glaze flake to the end of the right hand horn. No restoration.

A large and unusual model of a cat (Gatto) designed by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, with impressed decoration and with painted marks underneath, 'Italy, 4521' (38cms long). Also with a Bitossi lidded jar (23cms high), and a bowl (12cms high). (3). *CR Cat, small chip to the side of the face (see image), a little wear/nibble to tip of tail, small chip/nibbles to the end of the Cat on the edges. Bowl, couple of small nibbles to the rim, discoloured inside from water/flowers Lidded jar, lid - small nibbles to the finial. nibbles to the outside of the rim, base of jar - small nibble to the rim.
