A Victorian silver trophy goblet, London 1846 (makers mark rubbed), with floral decoration, inscribed 'The Guiting Cup', 17cm high and another silver trophy cup, HM, Birmingham 1927, with lion mask headed scroll handles, inscribed 'The Pilkington Memorial Cup for Special Puppy', 16cm high, total approximately 425gPuppy cup - Some slight surface wear and knocks in line with age and usage. Lugs under the foot show it would once have had a plinth. Guiting Cup - Overall good condition, light wear commensurate with age.

Yorkshire Ramblers' Club. Annual Report and List of Members, Leeds, 1893-1898, an unbroken run of the first six reports, all retaining original printed wrappers, bound with Pilkington (Charles). Mountaineering without Guides. The Conclusion of a Lecture to the Yorkshire Ramblers' Club, given on October 27th, 1896, Leeds: J. Whitehead & Son, 1897, retaining original printed wrappers, also bound with other ephemera relating to the Yorkshire Ramblers' Club including a copy of a letter from Edward Whymper accepting the offer of becoming an honorary member of the club, an original copy of the club rules from 1892 and card containing a list of the original members, a folding sheet advertising an 1895 lecture by Hermann Woolley titled 'The Alps of the Central Caucasus', plus a few cuttings, top edge gilt, remainder untrimmed, contemporary green cloth by Goodall & Suddick of Leeds, upper board with blocked design in black depicting mountaineers, with club motif to lower board, light fraying to foot of spine, 8vo, together with Wilson (Claude). This collection of reports and ephemera formerly belonged to Lewis Moore, one of the original members listed in the first report, and bears his name to the front blank. There are several neat annotations made by Moore throughout the reports, often adding more information about a climb.

A good quality Coalport ornamental jardiniere, circa 1855-60modelled in the French style with a 'Sardinian' green ground, painted with a panel of flowers attributed to William Cook, opposed by a panel of fruit, raised on four feet, with a pierced rim, marked CSN, 16.5cm high, 26cm wide (small chip to foot)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection. This vase is illustrated in Messenger, Michael 'Coalport - 1795-1926' (Antique Collectors Club, Suffolk, 1995), page 256, plate 196. Previously in the C.R. Pilkington Collection.Condition:Condition is good with no damages or restoration. Fine crazing to the glaze visible to both panels and the white interior. Minor handling wear to the gilt on the rim and further wear to the feet. A couple of small nibbles to the edge of one foot. The gilding around the floral panel also has areas flaking and missing.

Margaret Pilkington (1891-1974), Italian Landscape, signed to lower left and inscribed State No. 2, 2/8, wood engraving. 19 x 14 cm (SH). CONDITION REPORT: This wood engraving has not been examined outside of its frame. There is one clear patch of staining which is brown and to the bottom left margin over and above the letter MA in the artists signature. The remainder of the paper is intact, no tears or holes. There is one crease visible middle right to the margin. It is clearly signed, inscribed with title and numbered in pencil.

Green Fecit Of London, Circa 1700With shortened two-stage barrel (some old pitting) turned at the girdle, breech signed in capitals and engraved with scrolling foliage terminating in a monster's head, plain tang, signed border engraved rounded lock (some wear) decorated en suite with the breech on the tail and on the cock, moulded figured full stock carved with foliage behind the rear ramrod-pipe and barrel tang, mounts comprising side-plate elaborately cast and pierced with scrolling foliage, escutcheon engraved with owner's crest of Pilkington within a border of foliage and with a demi-mask above, border engraved spurred pommel decorated with foliage on both sides and with grotesque mask cap, trigger-guard with large foliate finial and decorated with a frond on the border engraved bow, turned baluster ramrod-pipes, and later brass-capped ramrod with iron worm, London proof marks and Green's barrelsmith's mark 22.5 cm. barrel Footnotes:Thomas 1 Green was apprenticed to Edward Nicholson in 1686 and was free of the Gunmakers' Company in 1693. He was elected Master of the Company in 1720 and is recorded 'att ye Fowler' Minories between 1697 and 1714. He was Gunmaker to Ordnance, 1697-1715; the Royal African Company in 1721 and was viewer and Proof Master to the Hudson's Bay Company in 1715.
